Dave Cowens: 1 career 3 pointer attempted (and 0 made)
Dave Cowens: 78 Open shot 3

    0

Cowens played most of his career before the 3 pt line was added

    0

I'd be willing to bet that in his career he rarely if ever shot what would be a three if there was a three point line

The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence

    Underrated ass card

  • 1

If he was like 6'11 or taller, then this would be the 2nd best center in the game right now. He might be already though

    1

You can actually play him at the PF

    0

    That's not my point.

    0

    Why?

    0

    What do you mean "Why?"

    1

Why That is not your points?
He is "athletic" , nice shot, monster rebounding and Huge post moves with good height FOR A PF. Problem to be a center? 6'9. Solution? Play him at the 4

    1

My point was that if he was a bit taller he would be the 2nd best center in the game IMO, but not anymore because of Ewing.

Not even close, I would take diamond Willis reed or George mikan way before him, and even then there's still diamond ultra athletic shaq and Ben Wallace, so nowhere near top 2 Center and not even a top 10 of, he just has too many weaknesses, also anyone who hasn't got their historic diamond reward I recommend you take a good look at george mikan. After the update he's insanely op.

I've had Cowens for maybe 2 weeks and I really regret getting him. Firstly, the cards in the Celtics collection aren't worth locking in, sam jones is too small and rondo cant shoot. I'd much rather have the rubies that I might use like a Richard Jefferson, Scottie Pippen, Jason Terry, Shaq, Ralph Sampson, etc etc.

Secondly Cowens is just too short, he's an okay option at PF, but having diamond Jerry Lucas and Kevin McHale, Cowens doesn't make my squad as a PF.

In hindsight I'd much rather have bought Diamond Mutumbo or Russell as they are both sellable so if better centers come out in the future I'm not stuck with an undersized option. The only upside of Cowens is he can shoot, but there's still better collections for a good shooting Center which also has more size and the cards in those collections I'd be much happier keeping forever than the Celtics collection as I'm never gonna use those cards. It's a shame there was no ray allen, paul pierce, larry bird, KG, bill Russell etc in the collection.

This man might be one of the least known MVP winners

This man grew up in Newport, Kentucky which I used to live about 5 minutes away from (Ft Thomas) so it's cool to see this card

    0

I live like 5 minutes from there too. Small world.

aye Kentucky boi (im from Louisville) please tell me you're not a UK fan tho (or at least one of the asshole ones)

I am getting him in a few days. Only need some more cards to end the collection...

really hope those cold zones are bugs or get fixed, besides that, this card is actually great, his shot release real easy, and his post moves are smooth

Not him. Wes Unseld won it his rookie year, not Cowens.
