A Cheap G.O.A.T
Written by 2kDraftGodC
I had reached 600 cards and got my 25,000k mt looking for a amethyst steal, and getting this guy was the perfect pick up for me. I don't ever write reviews but this card is a very underrated player that should be snatched that anyone that needs a athletic, shooting playmaker.
He averages 13.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists for me and I am absolutely in love with this card. I have amethyst Russell Westbrook on the bench and now I am currently looking to sell him because of the versatility of this here card. If any reading this would like to purchase Westbrook off me, feel free to message me.
Bought for: 26,750 MT
Speed Boosting : 90 Ball Control. Blasts through defenders especially with his quick and easy dribble moves. He makes space and is easily able to find an open lane. He also has stellar passing which allows him to pass to an open man in the act of shooting without any bad throws. Ankle Breaker badge make him unstoppable, so putting that badge on him is a must.
Shooting : When getting past a defender or when there is a open look, this card rarely misses shots. He has a great shooting stats with a nice, quick jump shot that are easily green releases. His jump shot may look a lil weird but that has nothing to do with the way the ball is released. Great shooting card compared to his ruby version.
Playmaking : He has all playmaking badges on gold (despite Ankle Breaker) which makes him a phenomenal point guard to use. He rarely misses passes and can throw lobs from almost half court.
Defense : This Card is a defensive monster. He can get back to a player that as got past him and with a 35 block, he can actually block some jump shots and lay-ups. His 97 steal makes it so easy to try to cause a turnover and get easy points, but obviously spamming will cause it to draw a foul. But when used the right way, he could easily get 3 steals per game.
Rebounding : For a point guard , his rebounding stats are pretty solid with an 84 defensive rebound and 82 boxout. He can sometimes get boards over shooting guards , small forwards, even big men which gives his team an opportunity to get some points.
Inside Scoring : Not much a slasher but can make some contested lay-ups here and there. Some of his lay-up animations causes him to get block occasionally so i would not recommend frequently driving to the basket when contested.
Recommended Strategy: Excels at Pick and Roll, Isolation (Especially with Ankle Breaker), Mid-Range Pull Up, and Open Shot 3pt.
Use if: An athletic, shooting playmaker with easy-to-use dribbles moves.
Don't use if: Looking for a slashing point-guard
Bottom Line: This is an amazing card for the price that it is going for. A must buy for Budget Squads and People looking for a player to build team.
Thank You for Reading and Have a Great Day.
