The Truth about Paul Pierce

Written by iamtrashat2k

Hi everyone! I came home after work tonight, not realising it was St. Patrick's day ( since I'm dutch ). Checking 2kmtcentral and seeing this diamond version of the Truth. I conveniently had about 8k mt in the bank so I decided to open a St. Patrick's day pack, boom he popped up. ( PROOF, a snapchat that I sent to salty friends: http://imgur.com/a/GdiL7 ) I played him at SF, for 7 games and I decided to share my opinion.

Bought for: Packed

Strengths:

  • Shooting. Whether it's a catch 'n shoot 3 or a pull up midrange, the Truth can do it all, perfectly. He comes with all the shooting badges on gold, with his HOF badge being midrange deadeye.

  • Inside scoring. His driving stats are pretty good, he has a 92 driving layup, 89 ball control, nice speed and a 85 driving dunk. Overall he did pretty well for me driving.

  • Defense. His defense was very good overall, the occasional flop happened but that is mostly my fault ( check username ). His best attribute here were his steals. 1 game he got 8 steals! With 94 lateral quickness he is relatively easy to on-ball with.

  • HIS FADE. Bail out shot. No time left on the shot clock? L2+Square and it's buckets.

Weaknesses:

None really?

Recommended Strategy: Catch and shoot, pull up midrange.

Other Comments: Overall this card was very nice to use and I will not be selling him for a while. With event cards always flooding the market, he should not be too expensive. At the moment of writing this you can pick him up for about 75k MT. He is definitely worth it.

Use if: You want a card that can do it all!

Don't use if: You need a super slasher like Wiggins or LeBron

Bottom Line: Thanks for reading guys! This is my first review ever and I am Dutch so I'm sorry if there are some grammar errors!
