I had some extra MT so I figured I would pick this card up and try it in a game just for fun. I didn't think that he would be as good as he was, but he will be a permanent part of my lineup now

Bought for: 63,000 MT

  • 3 point shooting: One of the best in the game. Once you get used to his form, it will almost never miss if he is open. Can make deep threes as well as being right on the line
  • Mid Range: About as good as his three. Makes open, contested and off the dribble easily. If you have a tiny bit of room, you should take the shot
  • Inside scoring: He is a pretty good slasher, not like D Rose, but he gets the job done. This card can also dunk effectively unlike any other version of him I remember. Has a nice post game, and can abuse smaller forwards with his strength, and OP post fade
  • Athleticism: For a Paul Pierce card, he is pretty fast. Good vertical as well which helps with blocks and rebounding. Has 90 strength, so he can push others around without getting pushed back
  • Defense: He can lock down both in the post and on the perimeter. Gets steals and can create offense off his defense

  • Shot stance: This is the only thing I can list as a weakness, and once you get used to it, its not even a problem. For some reason he has one foot forward when he shoots, and sometimes if he is in the corner, it will count a three as a two as a result. His form is still pretty smooth, and if you aren't right on the line, he will still drain a ton of threes. Worst case scenario one or two get counted as twos.

Recommended Strategy: Anything really. He can honestly fit any system easily

Use if: You want a laser shooter who can do it all offensively and defensively

Don't use if: I can't see any reason to pass on this card if you have the funds. Even if your SF spot is full, he is a great stretch 4

Bottom Line: Top 5 card in the game (IMO). Definite must cop, and with price considered, he may be better than guys like 97 KD and 97 Melo
