Size and shooting

  • Outside scoring. This card is largely a one trick pony; Peja is a shooter, and compared to most other diamonds the rest of his game is actually pretty weak. But he can bomb it. 99 3 point, 5 HoF shooting badges. He can hit even contested shots with good regularity. Very, very smooth player.

  • Size. He's 6'9, and has the thicker LeBron or PG13 frame rather than the Durant type frame, which makes a difference. Even without good defensive ratings, his size allows him to compete defensively and on the boards.

  • Defense. For a late stage diamond, his defense is average at best. Average awareness and lateral quickness at the mid to high 80s, but he can't steal, block, or contest shots. These ratings do show up on the court.
  • Athleticism. Low to mid 80s movement and mid 70's strength. He feels slower then a comparably fast player like 93 Butler. Struggles to get around people. Average vertical.

Recommended Strategy:

This is an ideal piece to bring off the bench of a god squad, or start at the 2-3 for any average squad. Relatively cheap for a diamond, great badging. He's a top tier shooter in the game. Use him in the flow of your offense, find him corner triples, and try to maximize his elite size for the position.

Other Comments: (optional) The ideal card for blacktop, he's a murderer, a killer, an assassin on the 3-3 game. His size really shines here, and he's uncoverable on the offensive side.

His release is pretty good, though not quite the Paul Pierce perfection. Better than Ray Allen for sure.

Use if: "You want a big, wide SF or SG who can splash.

Don't use if: You want a stronger athlete, or lockdown defender at the SG or SF position.

Bottom Line: Great pickup for 47k. He's worth it, and an elite player in H2H and Blacktop.
