If anyone thinks he’s not ROTY they can fight me right now
7Let's fight
20Donovan Mitchell is pretty good though
Show 2 replies...6the thing in NBA that's stupid to me is that people that were drafted the year before or even longer can win the ROTY in the 2nd year if they missed the first season. Like just because they're not playing doesn't mean they can't learn about the NBA

Once-in-a-generation talent right here
-3Just like lebron, he literally has the exact same skillset when coming into the league
40Facts. Ahead of lebron as a passer at this stage but not as a scorer

Can y'all check this out I promise this is gonna be the only post I'm gonna put this here but I kind of go on a rant about how broken 2k is http://2kmtcentral.com/18/lineups/349695/why-2k-is-dead I'm legit done with this game after every single day I only get matched up with one person in my tier and I usually meet a cheeser in the amethyst tier or higher.

He'll be a force to be reckon with in just 2-3 years from now, that's very scary

If you think Mitchel is the roty when he has worse stats and less wins than you have a 0 basketball IQ
-4If you think Simmons is a rookie you have 0 basketball IQ
1Only except for the fact that he quite literally is a rookie by the NBA's definition of a rookie
Show 13 replies...0When was he drafted?
4when did he start playing
0Alright good argument I'm waiting for a dude to get drafted and be with the team for 10 years and then play an actual season and get ROTY
2that already happened
0when
1arvydas sabonis
0never won ROTY
1still considered a rookie when he was 31
0that's not what I said, I'm talking about winning rookie of the year
1and then he would've won rookie of the year but damon stoudamire had a great year
and then winning roty Blake didn't play the season after he got drafted and then won
also why does it even matter lmao Ben is still younger than guys drafted in the draft class after him0cause it makes no sense he's still had nba experience for a full year
2not really
he traveled with the team but he never really played agaisnt nba level talent and so it's basically the same as him staying an extra year at college0 -

I don't think we'll ever see Simmons develop into a 3-point shooter, he's just too dominate on the inside

Again with the 90 free throw 2k, they gave the same rating to Lonzo. It's ridiculous, two of the worst FT shooters in the league and they both get 90s. Ben's should be an 80 MAX and Lonzo's a 70-75 MAX.

When a center legend gets a good card: 80+ 3PT
When a rookie small forward gets a good card: 52 3PT1He's literally 0% from three. He's shot 11 threes and hasn't made one. I honestly think it should be a bit worse. I he hasn't made a three in the NBA yet why should he be making them in the game?

-7NO IM NOT
3Are you black or white?
-5WHITE
2.-. It not if you are black. But if you are white...well that racist
1-1SHUT UP
0Just tell man. If you say that to a grown up black man you would get into a fight easily.
He and Giannis have defined what a "positionless player" actually is.
Magic Johnson also did, but they're doing it better
Magic stayed more un his role cuz they had Kareem
tru, tru
Remember though, when Kareem went down with injury in the finals one year that magic played the center position and won the title.
are we just gonna act like he didnt say that giannis and simmons are better than magic johnson?
i guess so I think Ben is good but nothing like Earvin
The NBA altogether has become positionless
As long as you have a 7 footer, a shooter and an all-round player, you're set.
Not even close
Are you actually kidding me? Magic won Finals MVP in his first season, and because Simmons is playing admittedly well, you have to downgrade one of the top 5 players in NBA history.
People say magic did but these guys can play positionless two way ball. Magic was nowhere the defender these guys are. But the league has changed so drastically it’s not really fair to highlight his shortcomings in a more physical game.
and just a disclaimer for those who don’t understand what I said no I don’t think either of the young stars are better players than Magic
Yes more a Giannis, because he can't shoot a three.
Just imagine if he develops a three ball
Look at Caldy video. He can't shoot three in IRL but he can shoot 3's in 2k.
Look at the video of him sinking 9 3’s in a row. He can shoot… he’s just not confident about it.
A young Magic :-) he can pass way better than LeBron
Lol, "way better" than LeBron... LeBron is one of the greatest passers ever, not sure if he's even below Magic. Less flashy tho
LeBron is far from Magic when it comes to passing
