Perfect Glue Guy

Written by NM47

I really needed a good backup power forward and found this guy. His ruby was extremely good for me last year so I figured I would give him a shot. I couldn't have been more pleased as he is the perfect glue guy on my bench for supermax. He is so well rounded and plays exactly like Boris Diaw did in his prime.

Bought for: 800MT

Strengths:

Inside Scoring- He finishes well at the rim and can get around other power forwards with his high ball control

Outside Scoring- He is a perfect guy to kick it to in the corner for the open three

Passing- he is a great passer and can function as your primary ball handler

Weaknesses

Rebounding- he is somewhat small for a power forward but he is not really a liability

Recommended Strategy: Let him catch the ball in the corner and hit threes or put the ball on the floor to size up slower defenders.

Use if: You want a versatile glue off the bench that is extremely consistent

Don't use if: You need a dominant rebounder or the star of your team

Bottom Line: Great value and extremely underrated

"Exactly like in his prime" What prime? Great review though. May consider using him off bench to back up AD.

In 2006, he won MIP averaging 13 points and 6 assists as a PF.

Thanks. I just meant that he plays exactly like he did in real life. 2k doesn't normally get play style right but they nailed it for him.
