I am also a guy that never buys vc or mt.

You really save up do you have tips on how you do it

    0

nevermind on the Kareem challenges as I see you already have him. You have a solid lineup so I don't think you need any help honestly. I mean all I packed was a 93 overall hakeem which sold for 60k. I got about 50k from collector level rewards by getting to about 600 cards mainly from gauntlet. I am sorry if I can't be more helpful. I also earned about 1,000 mt each game I play whether it was domination at the start of the game, Kareem challenges or rttp. That really added up over time but I also earned about 250 each gauntlet game. Im the kind of person who doesn't bother with sniping players. it gets boring.

I'm liking your team! I also have spent no money and have a solid lineup from just grinding! Did you sell tmac? I just bought him and love him! I really think your team is very balanced rn.. Could you help me with mine?

Well i gave some tips in this comment section but i'll still tell you. The main way is gauntlet. You can get clyde and cousy who are great cards. You can also get gold cards if you are looking for that but i just play it to get contracts and the mt boards. Beat domination and historic domination. they are easy to beat and you get 2 really good cards. Then keep getting contracts and players from gauntlet and maybe start doing the challenges for Kareem. they are easy but you just need to put the time in and have the certain players from that team. good luck

Starter look very good. I had gold T-Mac and struggled with consistency so I'm not sure how his Diamond does there, but there are cheaper options to get the job done. I would also look to improve your backup PF. Gasol is good but a speedier stretch 4 would work better with your bench sqaud. Very good team though for not spending money.

Diamond t-mac is very good and worth the price I payed for him but I just feel i need more depth to my team instead of one really good card. He is a great finisher, shooter, and great in the passing lane. He also has hot zones everywhere except at the top of the key.

Diamond Cousy.. Pretty good to me. I sound so stupid when I say that but I'm just honest.

Maybe replace Current Steph with the MVP version, sell David Thompson and move Clyde to the backup 2, and get the Throwback 95 Lebron instead of the Regular one.
    Other than that, great lineup!

    0

thanks for the suggestion, i am currently trying to sell Thompson and i bought demar to replace him. I definitely want to get mvp steph but i am gonna try to save up to get Big O first. How is 95 lebron? have you had him on your team. Is he really that different than the current one?

I finally sold Tracy Mcgrady and got Harden and Aldridge. All I need is suggestions for a diamond point guard and a backup shooting guard. I have limited mt right now but I am considering Big o, Rondo, Frazier, Deron Williams, Jennings, and Isaiah Thomas. For my backup shooting guard i am thinking of rick barry(either version), Gervin, Ritchmond, Rice, derozan, klay, wade, mccollum, and Dale ellis. Any other suggestions or if you used any of the player I listed would help

I'd try getting DR Curry. They have patched his shot so he can shoot deeper than any other player now, he shoots like he does in real life now pretty much which can be a strong weapon. A little bit of a defensive liability which if you want to save up for the Playoff Version that could fix but he's really good offensively.

    0

That sounds great that he can finally shoot, saw some videos on youtube of some ridiculous shots. I just recently bought big o and am gonna see how he is, if i don't like him I sell him and then save up some more mt and try out dynamic curry. But to be honest is there really a difference between 94 overall steph and the 97 overall one shooting wise. I mean if they updated steph's consistency and range, i would guess it works for all the cards. I mean the only thing dynamic is better at is speed, mid range, and thats really about it other than some small changes. just wondering if 200k is worth it instead of the 35k for the 94 overall.

    0

Shooting wise the difference is not that noticeable between the two, the athleticism difference is big for me though. It really just depends on how much MT you have, how your going to use Curry, and is there any more dire improvements elsewhere. Personally I get to the rim and finish just as much as I look to shoot with him so the speed boost is important to me. There is also somewhat of a strength boost that makes him a bit better on defense, although it is not as huge of a difference between the DR Curry and Playoff Curry in terms of effecting defensive ability.

lol @Fade your lineup is similar to mine

    0

Get 95 Lebron. Much better card

    0

how so? I'm guessing you mean the throwback 95 right?

    0

    yeah

    0

That team is very good though

    sick lineup....

    0

    Our lineup is very similar

    0

    you need a MJ

    0

I would pick up playoff dwade instead of demar. You would have to be willing to give up some height and athleticism, but playoff wade is a more well rounded card

    0

I am curious by what you mean a more well-rounded card.

    0

really? have you used Demar? I was actually thinking about recommending demar to you as well because he is a very consistent shooter for me with a quick, easy release. He also is much faster than wade and is a solid on-ball defender for me. He also is a great finisher and gets fouled often with a 95 free throw rating. Not to mention he dunks on everyone. He feels like a cheaper Vince carter but a more consistent shooter.

    0

I have tried demar, but found that the wade is a better shooter, demar has cold zones littered all over the court, wade is also a better defender for me and finishes better than demar near the rim. Really, it all comes down to personal preference but when you think about it, Wade has more total stats than diamond harden

    0

I think there's a couple amythyst players that could really help. I use nate Archibald and Tom chambers and although they aren't used by many people they are without a doubt my most consistent players. I would at least suggest to take a look at them and see if they fit your style of play. I would alsot to suggest to keep kawhi. That cards honestly one of the best two way players in the game. He's also my idea of a perfect 3 offensively.

nigga explain how u got this team and spent no money

    0

well i beat both dominations and beat gauntlet. I didn't even do filters or snipe on the auction house this year. Gauntlet gave me a lot of cards. The only good cards i ever packed were 93 overall Hakeem and current steph and lebron. Sold Hakeem for only 60k. Not to mention the mt bonuses from collector levels. I got up to 650 cards but started selling all of them a week ago. I haven't even touched the challenges other than the Kareem challenges. I used the vc I earned to buy pack bundles. I earn vc very slowly because all i play is myteam and pro-am. Gauntlet is the way to go though. Don't forget about the 200,000 mt you can earn from the gauntlet boards. I also bought 95 overall michael jordan for 200k then sold him down the line for 280,000-300,000, can't remember. I also lost a lot of mt off of selling my rick barry and bill russell for cheap.

    0

damn brother you on that grind fo real

    0

yeah, i only play two games, this and r6. that's it really.

    0

your line ups fire and idk if my opinion really changes anything but honestly if u sell tracy and kawhi and get some amethyst players such as kobe, demar, vince, and a few shooters you could make your bench more flexible

    0

I would get either Oscar or Rondo at point Oscar would be better finishing inside and defensively and on the glass because due to his stats and height + athleticism. Rondo would be better at shooting because of his stats and better release. I have Oscar and he has no weaknesses. For a backup SG I'd go with throwback Vince of you can afford him. My second choice would be Demar and third is throwback Kobe (the 95 overall one)

    0

Thanks, i was considering most of those players. I heard diamond rondo was one of the best on-ball defenders. is that the case or does Big O lock down defenders more effectively. Also I see derozan has a lot of cold zones. Does vince and demar shoot the 3 well? For a backup shooting guard, i am looking for an athletic guard that is a decent defender and is consistent from the 3. Thanks.

    0

I never had Carter but I can tell you about Demar. Demar has cold zones but I never really noticed it honestly and since he's off your bench he won't be taking a lot of shots so I don't think it's as important. Try and see Vince's hot zones and honestly if I could afford Vince I'd have gotten him but Demar was cheaper and similar in style and stats so I bought him. Rondo is better at some things especially stealing and he would be an elite perimeter defender as I'm sure you've heard. But from personal experience Oscar is also very good and his height and shot contest is better (As well as strength). That gives him a length advantage on smaller PG's and the ability to switch onto SG's and SF's too.

    0

sounds good, thanks for the help

    0

Try Dan Majerle He is a beast for me defensivly and offensively. I think you should replace david thompson with him and use that mt to get a better back up PF like Anthony Davis.

    1

i appreciate the suggestion but me personally i am looking for an all amethyst and diamond lineup.

    0

    TBT Lebron maybe

    0

    well then try mitch richmond

I agree with @boilerball16 in that you should keep Kawhi. He's one of the best two way wings that are not incredibly expensive. I would sell T-Mac and get either Diamond Harden or Crawford to replace them. Both are offensive minded beasts that you can build your offensive around and are relatively cheap. On the bench I would pick up Moments Zach Lavine seeing you like athletic guards and wings. He can drive and shoot threes with an 89 standing three. I would put Curry where Bob Cousy is to get better three point shooting if you need it. Finally, I would get Amethyst Draymond Green or Kevin Love to replace Gasol. Both are stretch fours that are very good. Draymond is more athletic, has better handles, can drive better, and is a better defender. Love is a better shooter, post player, and rebounder. It's your choice. Hope my suggestions helped!
