Kareem. One of only 3 people to score more than Wilt. Was the most dominant players of the 70's and early 80's. Wilt couldn't accomplish much due to Bill Russel.

Russel stopped Wilt. Russel was the reason Wilt only won 2 championships. Hell, the late 60's Celtics were carried by Russel.

He WAS the coach of the late 60's Celtics. But he did have some good teammates....
But Russel is a better Centre and accomplished more than Wilt. And that's hard for me, a Lakers fan, to say. Without Wilt, Jerry West may never have won a championship.

When Auerbach retired, Russel became captain coach and coached the Celtics to ECF victory over Wilts first seeded 76ers, then again in the Finals a year later after Wilt joined the Lakers.
It doesn't chamge the fact Russell relied on Havlicek and co to carry the offense. Russell's offense was worse then Harden's defense. Wilt played both sides of the ball.
Wilt could play both sides, sure. But when Russel was guarding him, he struggled on offense.
