I think this Westbrook will shine in the guantlet just lIke the diamond John Wall. But speed doesn't always matter as much in 5 on 5 games unless it's all the way up to 99 with a speed shoe and high acceleration. Defenders will still cut u off at the edge if they get back on D, it's not like previous years where u can go baseline every time and always get to the basket. Diamond Kobe has like 84 or 85 speed and acceleration, but it doesn't seem to hurt his game too much.

Speed and dunking matters the most in the guantlet where the court is much more open and spread out. Diamond John Wall and this Westbrook r very effective in it, especially when u combine their good 3 pt shot. Guys with good speed and accession along with a super high 3 pt shot and a quick or easy release r real effective too like Curry and diamond Kyrie since it's 2 to 1 ratio rather than 2 to 3 in a regular game. Diamond Kobe real good in the guantlet too.

Better than all the MJ's? Why the LeBron is less athletic than the 96 Diamond MJ and can't shoot, or defend as well nearly as well. Just slightly higher playmaking and rebounding.

Yeah I agree he plows thru people where Jordan can't but reward MJ has a higher dunk snd a 20 higher contact dunk. Also the reward MJ has 94 speed and acceleration to get to the basket Lebron's 84 and a lot better shooting, waayy better D, better playmaking, aND juse as good rebounding. The young LeBron should have better speed though, they screwed him. Anyway thougb it's like a pink diamond MJ. Last year that was def the best card if you ask me.

Diamond Kyrie "is" the best shooter in the game currently, but when you face him up against this Westbrook, I feel like Westbrook owns the best PG award in the game right now. Even with the Magic Johnson card out.

Not me I like Wall's shooting form better and his D is a lil better too I think. This one has more badges though. You have to add all the shooting badges to diamond Wall for him to be super good but if u do he's pretty amazing. Both r great all around super athletic PG's though who can do it all.

IRL or in 2K16? Actually I changed my mind Diamond Westbrook is better now that I've used him and played against him. John Wall is great though all around. He does have better D though. I think Diamond Magic is the best PG though. We'll see how Oscar is when his 98 or card comes out. Last year he was athletic enough in game, even though he had great ratings.

So u sayin Westbrook 2nd best PG of all time? Russ is a combo guard that has s lot of slashing skills since he used to a SG, he's unique in that way. And he's 2ND to none in athleticsm I'll give u that. But as a PG guard what about that man Magic, Steph Curry, Isiah, Stockton, Payton, Jason Kidd, Jerry West, D rose his MVP year before he split his achilles, Tiny Nate, AI if u count him, Chris Paul in his prime, if Lillard keeps up the way he been playing, he ain't too far behind either he's still very young. You can't say none of them near Westbrook and some were better like Magic for sure. And John Wall ain't that far back. If Kyrie improves and learns how to play D he could end up being at least close considering how young he is. I'm a big Westbrook fan too.

It sounded to me like you were saying he's the best or second best PG of all time, maybe that's not what u meant, IDK. My point was he's not the best or second best PG of all time hands down, but maybe u were just saying no one is quite like him in his playing style, athleticism, and skill set other than Oscar. And yeah he's def better than Chris Paul right now, Chris Paul is past his prime at this point. Not saying he's better, just pointing that out. Russell is definitely more explosive and fun to watch though.

Before Derrick Rose went through his injuries I always felt like he was very similar to Westbrook, but he just hasn't been able to be the same player since, although still a good player, just not a perennial all star and top 5 or 10 best player in the league type of player anymore. Could've been worse though, he's still making money. Some guys loose their whole career with injuries.

yeah I feel ya, he's still fairly young, very skilled, and improves every year. He's made the transition to PG better than I expected, and still knows how to score too. He bounced back from that injury with Patrick Beverly well too. If he plays a long career, the question is how long can he stay so explosive, when his explosiveness does eventually start declining, what kind of player will he be then and how effective will he able to be then? Probably still a very good player, and I bet he will be fast for a long time unless he has a devastating injury, and hopefully that doesn't ever happen cuz he's so exciting to watch.

I played with this card in Gauntlet mode 3 times. As soon as I started dunking on people, they quit. BEST CARD IN 2K!!!!

Westbrook couldn't even lead his team to the playoffs. I can't remember the last time a player won MVP with his team not making the playoffs. What about showing their FG%? Its an important stat and Curry shot a way higher % than Westbrook. Wesbrook averages more assists because he has the ball in his hands 24/7 while the Warriors swing the ball around and set off ball screens for Curry. You should watch a few OKC and GSW games instead of just looking at their stats.

MVP means most valuable, which imo means, "The Best Player on the Best Team" - Regular season only. Curry was last year, and is again.

I'd say top 10 prob, but best card hands down, idk. Westbrook and Wall r great at getting to the hole and banging on people, but they get blocked on their dunks a lot too from the side or behind with good big men If they were a few inches taller it'd be different. His shooting and D r good, but not top notch like some other players. I don't think there's any way he'll be better than whatever the best diamond MJ, Kobe, Lebron, Kareem, or Magic ends up being. Too much size, shooting, D, and skill, and a much better post game.
Once I got this card I changed my mind about him getting blocked too much, I just hate how he does dunks where he puts it behind his head, which is a dumb thing to do when defenders r on ur ass. If u press R forward I wish they would just dunk it and make it first priority to not get blocked, but I def still say I never thought this card would be the best card in the game, and still don't. I guess maybe if u took away speed shoes he one of the best, but through diamond speed shoes on a lot of cards, they better than this one. I'm bout to get the new one though now. That might be the best card other than the diamond reward MJ. I wish his release was a little quicker, but Russ is the man and deserved the new card, after the game he had I knew it was coming. Pretty impressive too how he bounced back from that knee injury by Patrick Beverly.
