Well I didn't dislike it, but Magic was still just as athletic at this point and this was his box score for the all star game:

The formatting turned out bad lol oops... I think the tabs were counted as spaces. Sorry. Well he scored 25, had 9 assists, 5 boards, and 29 minutes played. He shot 75 percent and 100 percent (3-3) from 3 and 100 percent (4-4) from the line. For someone who had aids who had to retire from basketball while he was still playing amazingly (he had already retired at this point because of being diagnosed with aids), that's pretty damn amazing if you ask me.

That's a pretty fire squad. I just hope you can contend with tall SGs picking on Westbrook, especially if they have post moves. You also need another solid post defender in case someone runs a big that can post at the 4. On the bright side, you can be team fast break with that quick lineup. I wish you luck in MyTEAM!

These are fantasy cards tho. No Westbrook and curry should be close to the greatest of all time, same with J.R. Smith and Jamal Crawford's diamond cards. if they were proper stats then they would be around a 91-92 max 93

Best card in the game, hands down. A 6'9 PG who is very fast and can do almost everything. Just needs a boost to his post fade and his rebounding and he is essentially perfect. Plus, you can play him from point guard all the way to the center position if you wanted.

i still find it weird that an all star game mvp card has the same rating as 81-point kobe. with the new stat system this year it seems like 2k thinks that johnsons all star mvp performance was as great as kobe's 81 point game...

yeah that is a good point. It's just an excuse for 2K to make these insane cards, so they can get paid. Except the MT sellers r takin some food off their 2K table, and they don't like that. Man they gotta figure out a better system for next year, They should give us better packs and cheaper packs that don't suck and whatever MT u earn should be x 10 so u could actually build a great team.

They use a cheat engine and anybody can make you lose a game at will with it. They also can set diamond max prices higher. Some diamond cards get sold for 15mil.! I think you can also get the most possible amount of VC by changing it with the cheat engine. Same goes for myPlayer. Maybe people had 99 rated players on day one in myPark cuz they cheated all the upgrades. That makes the whole myPark/myPlayer mode nonsense.

Oh I gotcha. I always wondered why PC prices were always so much higher on the auction block, I figured it was some type of glitch. That's the problem with PC, there r so many ways it can hacked. I wouldn't use that dumb as engine to make people lose, that's pointless and takes all the fun out of it. Why even build a good team if u wanna just win automatically without playing. I'd probably generate my self some VC and open a ton of packs though. So is a lot of peoples' teams all diamond lineups?

Well, many people did open tons of packs in the beginning when golds were also worth a lot and they probably also pulled the odd amethyst/ diamond. I haven't gotten to the unrestricted seeds just yet. The input lag is quite significant for me so playing online is not as rewarding, even if one wins.

do they make the MT with cheat engine? that's so lame they can make u lose whenever they want. How do they do it though,? and how do they set the auction prices higher? I considered getting 2K on computer but I knew it'd be easier to hack. I'm good on PS4.

I have not quite understood it exactly, I just see people have superstacked lineups, since you can create 9999999 or whatever many VC with cheat engine and then people open packs. In the beginning gold cards were more expensive so the had a nice value to sell and thus convert into MT. It is however so late in the season that you can still get the game for fun and play Domination and get golds for cheaper and even the odd really good card. I bid on a Damian Lillard Moments amethyst and got it for 22k now. So it depends on what you would want to get out of the game. I got it in January and have had good fun. I also got the game for 30€ so about half the price, which I thought was good enough to have enough fun.

Alright. I have only seen it on a YT vid. I am not propagating it and not using it myself, since I already explained and layed out on these comments that I have no fun corrupting the challenge of getting good players by learning the game and earning players/ VC. If there is no way then good. Cheaters are a ton thought still!

that's one point of view. I've never been bothered much by a guilty conscience, maybe I'm a sociopath lol, who knows? But 2K did not set up my team very well. If it was it'd be a different story. But you could literally spend $10,000 on VC to open packs and play all day everyday for MT and still probably not having enough cards to get the main goal of 2700 and getting diamond MJ. Especially with the prices on PC. You might not even get a diamond player either. When the deck is stacked against u like that I wouldn't trip on it. $60 to buy the game plus the at least $100+ a lot of people will spend on VC is enough if u ask me. Sometimes cheating ruins the fun in things, like a lag switch, or in 2K13 with euro step 3's and charge cheese, and the lagging out of a game glitch in 2K14 and still get a win every time. But in this case I'd have plenty of fun with an all diamond/amethyst lineup and be laughing all the way to the bank. The main fun of my team to me is to build a great team and the games u play will be the main fun, not all the work, money and time to get it. I'd rather do something else like live life rather than being broke and starring at screen all day. To each their own though.

Oh I get way you say and I agree, but I like to also get to know players that I didn't know where good at certain ratings. That helps me keep up with the NBA more. I watch the league but certain ratings help understanding players IRL. I have only a certain number of players I like anyways and I rather win with players I like than with good players I don't care for. So I grind and then open packs. It keeps the challenge fun. I play "play online" to get VC and play against real teams. Myteam I play to get players that aren't in the game anymore. I like the game for the game's sake. This year I learned about plays and offenses (Motion, 4-out-1-in etc.) That is fun for me. discovering the game after I have being following it for over 20 years now. I guess I am just a heady person that likes to win by executing a nice play and see someone shallow lose cuz he doesn't "love" the game of basketball not as much/ not as deep. That's maybe my "problem" :P

Yeah, I feel u. I have over 2400 cards but I still like using all different players, I don't just use my same best players every game, I mean sometimes I do, like in the 1st seed, but I like to mix it up too, the challenges r good for that. I just picked up the amethyst Tiny Nate Archibald for 100K and I've been having a blast using him. And yeah u do learn the game, but u can do that with any team good or bad, but if u have all diamond players it makes it pretry easy to win. With a bad team you need to execute a lot better. And yeah u do learn about the concepts, strategies, and plays in baaketball. I've played basketball forever so I already knew a lot of it, but I've learned a lot about football in playing football games.

Cheating is no fun for me. If you cheat you mostly cheat yourself out of the challenge that is the actual fun. There aren't many cards I want anyways that would make this more fun anyways.=D

I agree wholeheartedly with you. If everyone cheats then everyone else is only obligated to cheat to even the playing field, since 2k doesn't care. It just makes the whole game mode nonsense, which basically defeats the point of playing this game. The process of getting good players over the entire season is part of that. With cheating, there is no incentive.
That people buy VC and MT has bugged me generally, ever since these microtransactions hijacked the games yearly developing process.Before there was real money involved the game was also sold and made "enough" money. Now it is like "cheating" is encouraged by the companies (EA, 2k, etc.) "greed". One validates the other, but when it comes down to it the game and the players who don'tuse money get cheated and the gaming process gets cut short. The idea of competition is invalid since most idiiots buy the best players and then they want to measure themselves against people who don'T buy their lineups. It is like PSG who run away with the league title now ever since they got sponsored and it is joke as a competitive league. Where is the fairness or even the sense?

Yeah and when I have a way better team than someone who I can tell plays it straight up and has a bad team, unless I really need the win to the next round or something, I still try to compete, but even if I'm about to win the game, I quit out with like 30 seconds left cuz u know the teams r unfair for them.

It's because of a VC exploit that was active during the early release weekend. All you had to do was purchase $50 worth of VC and the game wouldn't charge you.

wide open rarely misses shots, especially when you master the timing. The real magic in this card is in attacking the basket, with the defender right on him he goes up strong and just when the help defense shifts over to try and block him, magic will reach around or double clutch lay it in gently as the block WHIFFS by. Then if you feel like embarrassing the little dude trying to guard him, you run iso next play down and back him down to the basket for an unstoppable post hook. When the other team finally realizes how helpless they are and start collapsing the D all over him on the drive, thats when the real magic starts, you kick it out with a pass to a teammate who can shoot and drain the three. Only, your not just pushing X, Magic doesn't pass with X, you double tap O every time and watch the amazing animations he pulls off throwing behind-the-back-no-look-passes and more even more accurate then other PG's boring passes.
Bottomline is, this is by far the most fun player to use not just because of his unstoppable inside scoring ability, but because of his ability to open the floor up and create shots for your shooters.
