Kobe def deserves a 99 ovr card, but it kind of seems like it should be for the game he scored 20 more points than this one. Then this one could be a 98 or 97. Still, it was amazing he went off like that in his last game. Most people didn't think he still had it in him after the last couple years he had.

It was an amazing final game. Just saying if I made the game I would've made the 81 pt Kobe rated higher cuz he was a better player then and played a better game. I would've still rated this card very high though. I've used them both, and I like the 81 pt Kobe a lot better abyway though. It's all just a matter of opinion I guess, on how my team should rate their cards and what type of game deserves what kind of rating. It was a highly significant game and maybe more impressive he could do that at 36 with all he's been through the last few years than scoring 81 in 06 I will say that.

No I feel u, wasn't trying to take nothing away from what u said. I watched the whole game and it was more prime time and meaningful at what he could still do at this age and after all the injuries. Just saying he was a better player and played a better game when he scored 81 in 06. But I do think they could've made his speed and acceleration higher, 73 is Center speed. He's not fast like he was, but he's not that slow, and didn't look that slow that night.

I respect it, but people can be wrong. For example what did Kobe do better than MJ? Obviosuly you can't really compare current day to the past so that kind of stuff can never be compared, but IMO maybe when OR years after LeBron retires he might be considered the best ever. I think he's the second best ever, just becuz since he's still fairly young I'm looking into the future. I just say Kobe ain't the GOAT because I think MJ was better all-around. When I am comparing best of all time, I don't care to look at championships because we are talking about the player not the team. That doesn't really apply to Kobe vs. MJ, but idk.

Stat comparison. PPG: Westbrook +3.6. RPG: Westbrook +2.9. APG: Westbrook +0.2. SPG: Westbrook +0.1. BPG: Wall +0.5. TOPG: Wall -.2 (Wall averages .2 less). FG%: Westbrook +3.0%. 2P%: Westbrook +5.5%. 3P%: Wall +5.5%. Yes Westbrook is obviously better than Wall as of now. Just the gap isn't as incredibly large as people make it out to be. A lot of people disrespect Wall when talking about the elite point guards. But Wall is 2 years younger and developing very quickly and is very similar stylistically to Westbrook. His jump shot is already a lot better than Russell's and his passing and athleticism are on Westbrook's level. There are a few things Westbrook has that Wall doesn't though. Westbrook is a far better finisher and has that killer mentality that Wall lacks, which is part of why he gets so many boards

I don't think they're everything - they're just the easiest way to quantify what a player does out on the floor. Westbrook is definitely better in the advanced stats. Don't fuck with me on advanced stats, I did my entire MYP Project (year-long project in sophomore year that was my final Lit grade) on NBA Analytics and their usefulness. I found out that they were effective but my theory is that you need to use both analytics and scouting. One can get swayed by a flashy player and think he's the best player you've seen but then analytics can expose some of his weaknesses. I would take Kobe over LeBron or Curry in the clutch because neither of them are particularly good at clutch shots. Wizards will make the playoffs if everyone is healthy. They made some nice additions in Mahinmi, Thornton, and Burke. If they stay pretty healthy then they can be in the middle of the pack in the East. They'll probably end up around the same spots in their conferences
