When you realize everyone overlooked his 98 Driving Layup, 94 Ball Control, 86 Speed, 98 Stamina and 92 Post Fadeaway and instead immediately rips his 3-ball only being an 84 (for the easiest shot timer behind only Duncan and Aldridge)

He is not the best shooting Small Forward in the league. That s a stupid statement. Harrison Barnes is a better shooting small forward. Paul George is a better shooting small forward. Brandon Rush is a better shooting small forward. And many others. He is just more all around than the others but imo, PG is better than Durant.

Lol you're not the best player in the world that is important and needed for a team's success. Curry could have played the next day but it's a thing called taking the precautions so as not to injure yourself again. Playing on an injury too soon can lead to injuring yourself again and you end up being shelved for an even longer period of time which the Warriors could not afford in the Playoffs.
Defense now is definitely less physical, but team defensive schemes now are far better than they were then, it's a solid trade-off. Like I said the game has evolved.

Lol yeah being a SF in the NBA requires a lot of body mass, you'll get pushed around if you aren't that big, I mean that's why Giannis will probably be a great player, he's big and he uses it, back in the NBA this wasn't the case like look at Manute Bol he's a 7"7 center but he weighed like 200lbs, which is extremely skinny for anyone his size. But he was still a pretty good player. But now you see players like Yao (350lbs?) that dominated and players that are big for their position have been dominating the NBA, except now that GSW have revolutionised small-ball.

I think those guys were pretty slim. But his point was players are a lot bulkier these than in past generations, and I disagree. There were skinny and bulky players then and now, and overall I don't think there's been that much of a change, but there are a lot more big guys these days that have better coordination skills, and the athleticism and versatility of shorter players.
There are always exptions like Manute Bol, but there were also guys like Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley, Barkley, Karl Malone, David Robinson, Shaq and a lot of other guys built like tanks. And today there are guys like Mike Dunleavey and Gordon Hayward. Even Giannis is fairly slim. He's big, strong, and versatile, but mainly tall more than anything. Ben Simmons is coming in like a toothpick too now.

2k community= if he doesn't have 98 three then the card is useles. Gtfo there is more to the game than three point shooting. This card has 97 mid and 98 driving layup, 85 driving dunk, with 86 speed. That alone right there is scary as hell. And the three is good enough that he will make wide oorn ones, especially considering KD has one of the best releases in the game snd 98 off consistency.

This KD will be impossible to stop. I felt I could do basically anything with his MVP version, this card is just plain unstoppable. His three ball isn't even that bad. People can spam 3's all they want, with this card, KD will be dropping 40 a game on them easy without the need for the 3.

It's not essentially the same, you're getting a post game, +6 speed which is important when the card is 6'11, elite perimeter defense, better inside scoring, ball control that's at point guard level, big man like rebounding stats, and overall better athleticism stats for a 6'11 wing. There's a reason the MVP card is an amethyst and this is a diamond.

I put a speed shoe on him and placed him on the pf position. 95 SPEED 6"11 BEAST. Bruh i was scoring in the paint so much this card is no joke mid range and in the paint. If anything the 3pt shot is just a bonus. I would recommend a speed boost over a 3 boost.

How is that barely? 92 post fade playoffs is very different from 85 post fade mvp, 86 speed playoffs is greatly different from 80 speed mvp, the 3 shot is a 6 point difference. Big yes only problem is, that's the only thing mvp excels at while playoffs has more areas where he is better plus can create more shot oppurtunities due to a high ball control and can use his height in the post to fade over players.

The 3pt difference is major gameplay-wise. All his cards 3 pointers are broken except his mvp. This is a shooting game u should know that by now. Also speed shoes are way cheaper than 3pt shoes. Also post fades dont consistently go in anyway so its not as big difference. Plus ones hella cheaper then the other sooo

This is not a shooting game by any means, it depends on your play style and how you nullify others. Missing perfect releases with mvp Durant told me this isn't a shooting game.
Next, 3s don't consistently go in so what is your point? Kd has a bigger advantage from post due to height and stats as compared to trying to curry over players from 3. Agreed mvp is a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better bargain I don't deny that, Im just saving up to cop playoffs kd.

I just packed him today. My first ever diamond and it was from a single pack not even a box. I put spme speed shoes on him and hes a beast. Even thiugh he has an 84 three he still makes shots decently well and his midrange is deadly. With the 95 speed i gave him though i was scoring in the paint at will. Forst game i dropped 40 points with him against an all diamond team.

Why am I dumb? Just because a card is a diamond doesn't mean it's stats are better than it's amethyst. This KD doesn't have as good of a 3 as the MVP one and that's what you have kd for, shooting the ball. This one may be faster but the mvp can drive to the basket the same and still hit shots more consistently. You don't have to go around calling people dumb without any reasoning or knowledge of the game. Also that's my opinion.

Yep. I thought the same thing but luckily drew him recently when I bought a couple boxes for shits and giggles.
While I HAD wondered why anyone would want this Playoffs Durant over MVP Durant, which has +6 Standing 3 and +7 Moving 3 and which is massively cheaper, I get it now.
The Speed/Acceleration boosts are very meaningful. Bumping Post Fade from 85 to 92 is huge, because it's easy to get him to 98 with a +6 Shoe or even 99 with a +9 Shoe...and getting Post Fade into the high 90's is a game changer. With 83 Post Control and 97 Moving Shot Mid, he is a massive threat in the post.

Still not necessarily a luxury worth the MT above the crazy bargain that the MVP version is, but this version of KD is a killer. His 3-point shooting ratings are still high enough to make him a deadly threat from outside if you're making good shots from outside.
His 3 overall may suck but he still drains them . I pulled him in a playoff pack and he's a monster
This comment is so true. The NBA2k community is full of little kids who dick ride Curry and only care about the 3 ball. This card is GODLY and the fact that I bought it for 150k is a testament to how ridiculous this community is. THREE POINTERS ARE NOT EVERYTHING. But yes, 3 point shooting is a huge factor in this game, however a mid 80s 3 pointer on an all star player with an easy release is nothing to pass up on, IMO

Don't blame the players, blame 2k for making the game this way. The only stats that really matter are ball control, speed and shooting stats in my experience (maybe dunking and vertical too). Although I agree his release is one of the easiest in the game, his low 3pt rating makes him an ineffective player on the court
