Literally you asked can and the guy answered correctly. Put those guys in a similar system as Curry's and yes they can. Tell them to only shoot three pointers for 48 minutes in a game and yes they can. Will they? Probably not.
Golden State's system allows Steph to use his full three point shooting ability and that can't be forgotten. Put Steph on the 76ers and he would score a lot but not nearly the amount he does now. Respect to the MVP though.

You're completely wrong there. Kyrie isn't the star on the Cavs and he still puts up incredible numbers and he's not even the number one scoring option. So yes, if Kyrie had the opportunities that Curry has, he could make 400 threes. But just because someone can't shoot threes doesn't make them a bad player. In my honest opinion, I think the three point shot ruined basketball because it made the game more perimeter oriented.

Not that I care if u lol your ass off at my comment all day, but he's not even til like the 6th page of players if u sort by D rating. There are literally around 150 or more players with a higher D rating. Whether u go by the scale on here or on the back if the cards, there's lots of guys with better D. Diamond Magic, Wall, Rondo, Wade, Kobe, Lebron, MJ to name a few. And I use this Russell as my starting PG. He's one of my favorite cards and have had him and almost every goos diamond card for at least a few months... but ratings are ratings and I'm only being honest.

I have both 99 Curry and 97 Russ. And I agree. Better obviously speed and attacking the basket, but also is a great rebounder at PG. Which means you can start the break. Curry's biggest edge would be shooting but at least for me I can get more green releases with Westbrook. So I prefer Westbrook's shooting animation and timing.

Yup if can get a open shot with Russ it is likely going in. Curry does have that break the game 3 though. So his cards are the only ones that can just pull up a couple of feet inside the halfcourt line and shoot an A or better.
Curry still make a lot of 3s for me even if I don't get a green release though. The quick shot animations might be the problem. Curry shoots very quick. I do better with slower animations.

It's like saying Curry wouldn't be able to average 30 PPG, without 3 Pointers, the problem is, is that no dip they're able to do that. That's called skill. Just like averaging 48 minutes per game. The finals have nothing to do with an MVP, award. Which means you're wrong. So your whole entire arguement about Curry is invalid.

How about this then. The reason why he won MVP is mainly points and 3 pointers. Part of it being the fact that he was part of a 73-9 team. But if u look, Westbrook has him beat in almost everything else that is not shooting related. Barely or not, he has him beat. Being a point guard isn't all about shooting. It's a big part of it, but that's not it. It's more about setting up plays, which most likely would lead to more assists for the point guard if he looks at the open man. The warriors looked at curry just like most "fans" look at him. A three point shooting god. Hell you play 2k. You should definitely know how it feels to be curry at the three point line and how it feels to go up against curry at the three point line. Users use curry for one reason and one reason only. That's most of what the warriors had been doing to him, which led to half of his shots being three pointers, which led to him having more points.

That's exactly like saying Lebron didn't deserve his 2 MVP awards when he was on the heart. He won MVP for mainly being a dunker and being on a super team. Westbrook didn't deserve MVP over Curry. You're forgetting that this guy was the LEADER of the 73-9, so he's the main reason (other than draymond) to why they're 73-9. Curry isn't just a god like three point shooter. He was the league leader in steals and free throw shooting. And believe it or not, he's the best finisher in the league, stats show it. It's true that on 2k, the only reason why you would use him is because of his three point shooting. But in real life, he's a league leader in so many categorys it's not even funny. Russel beats Curry in assists and rebounds, but that's it.
The hugest reason why Curry won MVP is because of his PER. He had the third highest season PER of all time. The only player ahead of him were Wilt Chamberlain's 50, 44 PPG seasons. Ahead of, MJ, Kobe, Lebron. ANYONE other than Wilt chamberlain.

I know that they don't base the defense off of the all-star game because every single all-star card would have no defense. Since this is like a moments card, the attributes are supposed to be at least the same as the dynamic and regular cards, if not better.

I hate the whole Westbrook over Steph and visa versa. They are such different players and neither is better than the other. The are apples and oranges. Sure the both play the same position in the same sport, but apples and oranges are both fruits that grow on trees. Westbrook has so much athleticism while Steph has one of the craziest, quickest releases in the NBA. Enjoy them for what they are and for being able to watch them do what the do best.

Why are so many people hating on curry?! We're looking at a player that is unbelievable talented! It's like Jordan in his prime everybody hated him. Kobe in his prime everybody hated him. Now Steph. Well, Curry is clearly a good defender, whether he's better than Westbrook is debatable. Curry can actually deadlift over 400 lbs, second most on the Warriors. Curry is 3rd in rebounding in the NBA for PG's IIRC... Andre Roberson said he doesn't go for rebounds much anymore since he has to go back and guard the people Russ always leaves open since he crashes the boards instead of getting back to play defense. If you look at it in the way that Westbrook is better than Curry is size and athleticism, the argument isn't as attractive. Not to mention Russ' subpar basketball IQ which has been a big part of setting the NBA record for 4th quarter leads given up in a season.

I got MVP MJ and yeah he's got a 97 driving dunk and its fucking wild, it surprises me sometimes honestly lol I'm like ah fuck this is gonna be a shitty layup, and all of a sudden he rises up and hammers it down hahahah he does a lot of standing dunks around the rim too, hella nice card, and his defense is insane

I hate to say it, but the attributes point to curry being better. Westbrook has him on speed and rebounding, and this is a shooting game.
Finishing ability. Dunking. Speed Rebounding.
Basically the same Mid-Range.
Curry is 3 speed slower, 1 layup less. I don't see what the debate is. Once again I'm not saying Curry will be better in game, just saying Curry is better attribute-wise.
Westbrook is much more athletic, and has better finishing animations than Curry.

Well it's actually a drive with your Westbrook/Wall then dunk or if u cant dunk dish the ball outside for an easy 3 bucket game.And even 85 3ps with good release animation can hit them all 3s so who needs a Curry? :p
99 3pt and one of the best mid-range in the game. Good defending, great playmaking, great inside scorer with an OP layup, and he's still fast

I don't think any player can dunk on Yao in 2k tbh. 2k has some bugs they need to fix, like how not even Vince can do certain dunks
2k should fix the whole game as it is.Mostly in the Centers side.I mean who needs a 6'11-7'0 diamond C when u can have 7'7 Muresan with 83 ovr to defend ur rim and dunk on people......I quit My Park cause all i see was 7'3 centers and now its getting the same in Rttp with all Muresans and Yaos...
IMO Yao and Muresan are more opportunities than threats in RTTP games. They are slow, awful ball control and can't even hit open mids.
Why would you pay for such a center when Kareem & Pat the Beast are free ?! (or at least Pau Gasol...)
Also as a P.S. i dont use either.I m pretty happy with my DPOY Hakeem.I just hate when my opponent has them and do some stupid stuff that shouldnt be doable by them.I used them to try and i was cheesing the 7'6/7'7 heights too.But i dont like to play that way just cause 2k lets me so i sold them back and continued to use my Hakeem.All an all it's a fact that this way or another big men shouldnt be OP just cause they are way too long compared to standart size big men.

Well as you can see i didnt say anything about the attributes u mentioned.They are beastly threats protecting the rim.Its never a good idea to drive for a layup or dunk when Yao or Muresan is guarding the rim.Also they can defend any big in the post as long as they are not with 80 speed for spins or they are not Dirk for fadeaways.And in yhe offense why would u need Yao or Muresan to be fast or dribble the ball or hit he mid? All u have to do is post up with them , in and out cheese 1 or 2 times and dunk over anybody.Problem is all these stuff happens thanks to their height not their attributes.
What you are talking about should be the normal.When i see Yao and Muresan on my opponents team i should be relieved not stressed.But 2k made the game so if you are a big men with huge height you are the best under the rim player on bith sides even thought your stats are shaite.
Yeah not to mention in park that those centers can shoot 3s half the time...
