2k updated the Ratings. Hes now an 88, not an 81 like his standard rookie card.
I bought him and hes worth every penny. the rookie card already is impressive, this one is just insane. better defense and even better driving and dunking, plus higher consistancy. due to the very smooth shot form hes a better mid shooter than his stats and can also knock down an open 3 ball once or twice a game, also this low 3 rating is his only clear weakness.i absolutely recommend this card. Killer in the Gauntlet too.

    0

81 jordan was a moments not ROTY

    0

He also has a better looking player model than the Moments card. The ROTY has no hair!

    8

    Monster getting to the bucket.
    Monster one on one defender.
    Animations for dunking are incredible.

    Enjoy.

    5

If that 93 draw foul is right he will get fouled every possession

    2

Is it wrong if I play him at point?

    1

He was a gold when i pulled him, hope they update these cards soon so people can start to use some of the cards they pulled

    1

This card is great for 3 gold restrictions. I dropped 50 with him 2 games in a row

    1

    Four words- speed shoe

    1

Is Jordan good at the Small Forward position because I have James Harden and I want this Jordan in my squad?

    0

Does anyone realize that this is the same picture as the 81 MJ?

    1

Anybody agree with story ok so i was on my instagram and i saw a picture of Stephen Curry in 2009 and i comment he sucked back in 09 then someone tells me well obviously jordan sucked in his first three seasons and if im not correct than correct me but jordan won rookie of the year scored 63 points in a playoffs game and won defensive player of the year in just his first three seasons

    0

Well Jordan averaged for his first season 28.2 ppg. He missed most of his second season, only playing in about 18 games, but still averaged 22.7 ppg. Then in his third season averaged 37.1 ppg. For about all 3 of these years he shot very close to 50% from the field. So, he was a beast from his first year in the league. I don't know who told you Jordan sucked in his first three years, this person clearly never looked up what he did back then.

I will also add yes, he did also win ROTY, DPOY, and scored his famous 63 point game against the Boston Celtics in game 2 of the first round during the 1986 playoffs within his first 3 years in the league.

    0

Anyone who haved played with him at sf?

    0

    so godamm overpriced

    0

I dont know how i sit with his 3pt and mid range stats, but everything else I love about

    3

he wasn't a good 3pt shooter, especially not at this stage in his career. Still, a great player.

    0

In the game he's bald lol

    0

Good Card can drive just cant shoot

    0

THIS IS THE REAL THROWBACK FIRST COMMENT @Mr.FortyTwo

    0

WOOOOOO. idk what my first comment is

    0

This card is pretty amazing. Probably the best gold card at scoring inside the 3 point line. He makes a ton of bad shots and layups. He also has hot spots almost everywhere. Just be sure to give him badges. In one of my gauntlet games, he made about 3 or 4 terrible shots in a row, which led me to a win.

    0

Is he worth it? I want him for my 3 gold lineup
    ]

    0

Everyone keep this card a secret don't let ppl know how good he is if you have him

    0

If anyone wants to sell this player on PC, or to switch it with another card, tell me plz

    0

Why is rookie Kevin Durant rated better than this card?

    -3

because this is Jordan day 1 and Jordan wasnt suppose to be the GOAT when he got drafted. Durant was drafted second

    4

This isn't the day one jordan. And he was predicted to be an amazing player (not the GOAT), but Portland didn't take him second because they drafted clyde drexler the year before

    Show 1 reply...
    2

The Bull's head office has also admitted they would've drafted Ollajuwon if they had the top pick at the time.

    2

No, this is rookie of the year Michael Jordan, no matter if he is overrated or underrated, he deserves to be better then Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant.

    Show 1 reply...
    0

    oups my bad lol

    0

This card would be a great slasher, but it deserves a higher mid range and rating.

    0

    Anybody try him at PG?

    0

Im looking for someone to sell me this card (PC), im open to negotiate

    0
    0

54 strength? Should have sub-40, maybe even sub-30 strength. MJ was weak as hell coming into the league. He was never even remotely strong until the 90's came around

    0

His first step is so fast! Great around the rim, worth every penny! Although this card can't shoot threes, he still takes over the game by causing turnovers and converting those fast break points quick

    0

@tupac the draw foul rating on this card is incorrect. its actually a 99.

    0

This card has won me at least three or four games by itself...and i have lebron, davis, durant, cp3, harden...etc. makes almost every layup i take with him, great defender, passing is alright. Honestly don't know if iv'e taken a shot with him, but there's no need to when he gets to, and finishes so well at the rim. bought him for 96k less than a week ago...he can now be found for around 50k which hurts but if you need help pick him up!

    0

Just got him for under 40k! Try his post fade, it's a 90 and when he's guarded by a wing player, it's absolutely unstoppable. If you haven't gotten a good shot off with like 7-10 seconds left on the shot clock, throw it to him and he'll get a basket with that every time

    0

Should I sell my Anthony Davis and pick this Jordan up along with the 06 Shaq or keep Anthony Davis?

    0

    @tupac his ps4 price is 15 k

    -1

23 likes on the card wow

    -1

How is he at point guard

    2

    he is better at SG

    -5

this mj card is a bad 3point shooter 52 three ball, what the F#ck

    0

that's how we was in real life when he was a rookie. He great at driving and he had a decent mid-range as well.

    -13

THE ABSOLUTE MOST OVERRATED ATHLETE IN THE HISTORY OF THE EARTH. HE RETIRED FROM THE BULLS IN 1993 AND THEY LOST ONLY 2 LESS GAMES. THE REASON, BECAUSE HE IS OVERRATED!!!!!!!!. ESPN FEEDS PEOPLE THAT JORDAN IS THE GREATEST. THAT'S WHY I CALL HIM MEDIA GOAT. CUZ THE MEDIA THINKS HE'S THE "GOAT". DON'T BE FOOLED BY HIS BIG NUMBERS IN THE NBA FINALS. HE WAS PLAYING AGAINST CUPCAKES IN FINALS SUCH AS BYRON SCOTT, TERRY TEAGLE, AND BRYON RUSSELL.

MY FAVORITE JORDAN MOMENT IS IN GAME 3 OF THE 1993 EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS, WITH THE BULLS DOWN 0-2, MICHAEL JORDAN SHOOTS 3 OF 18 (16%).

MICHAEL JORDAN IS SUPPOSEDLY SOME GREAT DEFENDER, BUT WHO DID HE LOCK DOWN? NOBODY!!!! HE DIDN'T EVEN DESERVE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR. HAKEEM DESERVED IT. GO LOOK UP WHAT HAKEEM AVERAGED THAT YEAR. T MAC PUT 43 ON JORDAN, KOBE PUT 55 ON JORDAN, MICHAEL FINLEY PUT 32 ON JORDAN, DREXLER PUT 42 ON JORDAN, PAUL PIERCE PUT 32 ON JORDAN. DON'T GIVE ME THE EXCUSE THAT JORDAN WAS OLD. WHEN JASON KIDD WAS STILL IN THE LEAGUE RIGHT BEFORE RETIRING, DID YOU EVER SEE ANYONE PUT 40 ON HIM??!??? NOOOO!!!!!

THIS IS A QUESTION FOR ALL YOU JORDAN COCK GARGLING FANBOYS. HOW COME JORDAN NEVER GOT A WINNING RECORD WITHOUT SCOTTIE??? DON'T GIVE ME THAT TRASH EXCUSE THAT HE HAD A BAD TEAM. LEBRON TOOK A POOR CAVS TEAM TO THE FINALS.

FACE IT JORDAN DICKRIDERS, YOUR BAE MICHAEL JORDAN IS OVERRATED. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

    2

    1st all-time in player efficiency
    4th all-time in win shares
1st all-time in win shares per 48 minutes
2nd all-time in box score estimate

The 91-92 bulls had an SRS of 10.07. The 92-93 Bulls had an SRS of 6.19. The 93-94 Bulls (without Jordan) had an SRS of 2.87. The 94-95 Bulls (Jordans return) had an SRS of 4.32. From 95-98 the Bulls never had an SRS below 7.24. So, yes the Bulls had an equal number of wins without Jordan, however they had an easier schedule, the point differential was less, and the 93-94 team didn't even reach the finals (Jordan's Bulls teams won titles in 6 of his last 7 seasons).

You can't argue those stats, you have no idea what you're talking about.

    1

None of those stats were the same before 1973... No blocks, steals or offensive/defensive rebounds for PER or W/S, W/S also needs points produced and offensive possessions, not counted before 73` either. Obviously the same applies when adjusted for per 48 minutes. They didn`t have +- then either so really these stats can only be used to prove Jordan is better than all players after 1973 (in some cases all the way up to 1980 onwards), which I agree with BTW.

Although the SRS point is legit to prove Jordan was worth more than the wins show, it barley proves he is the GOAT, for example the 09-10 Cavs (with Lebron) had a SRS of 6.17 while the 10-11 Cavs (without Lebron) had a SRS of -8.88, although I don`t currently think that Lebron is better than Jordan it proves my point. Another example would be the 04-05 Lakers going from a 4.35 SRS to a -2.32 SRS when Shaq left, and the 91-92 Lakers going from a 6.73 SRS to a -0.95 SRS when Magic left. But most crucially of all when Wilt left the Warriors they went from a 4.41 to a -5.49 SRS, Wilt played 38 games but you cant say it was his fault as he still had the teams highest W/S by seasons end! Compared to other greats Jordan`s worth to his team is tiny. If you`re new here I have convinced many people that Wilt is the GOAT. Like J_Oak (not that I like his all caps rage comments).

BTW I wasn`t one of the people who disliked this, I only dislike directly offensive comments.

    2

Stop saying this on every Jordan page, I respect your opinion but don't discredit Michael Jordan as a terrible player. Calling Michael Jordan a terrible player is like calling Steve Jobs a dumbass. You keep on using the same reason-Wilt wins more games by himself, he is better-Name me one person who took a team to the finals AND WON! Wilt didn't do that. The year the 76ers won he actually took less shots and passed more. Okay, I think Wilt is a better athlete and basketball player but stop saying Michael Jordan is a terrible player. He is not a terrible basketball player! You want an overrated player? Try Charles Barkley or Shaquille O'Neal. Also I don't know if you remember this but between 1985-1993 Jordan was possible the best defender in the league, his only weakness was being posted up, which was exploited by Magic Johnson in the 1991 Finals. However, Phil Jackson moved Jordan onto James Worthy, who I might remind you is 3 inches taller than him, and he completely shut him down. Stop trying to discredit his defense, 4 out of the 5 of those players who scored tons of points on him were athletic young players, while he was nursing knee injuries and did not have his explosive athleticism. Who did Wilt shutdown when he was in his late 30's? No one! Byron Russel, hmm, let see. One of the best defenders in the late 1990's. But nooooo, he is a cupcake and 38 year old Michael Jordan can easily defeat him. Also Game 3 of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals: I think you forgot to mention that Jordan made 16 out of 17 free throws, had 2 steals, 2 blocks, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists. He also finished with 22 points, which is pretty good. You say he was trash that game but he was 2 rebounds away from a triple double. Also the Chicago Bulls won that game so I think that kind of discredits your argument right there.

    -3

Phil moved Jordan to guard James Worthy, but there's a catch to it. Worthy was injured and didn't even play the last game of the series and neither did Byron Scott. He wasn't always nursing a knee injury when those players scored lots of points on him. Like I said earlier, in Jason Kidd's last year when he was about 40 years old, name one time that a player scored 40 points on him. The argument is also that Pippen is the unsung hero, which is something I said earlier. Jordan is does racer and Pippen is racer x. Anytime Jordan is in trouble, Pippen comes and help him out. And yes, Michael Jeffrey Jordan is overrated.

    Show 7 replies...
    2

Never said he wasn't overrated. Just said he was not terrible.

    1

James Worthy missing game 5 benefited Pippen, which is why he had the most points in game 5 and more points than he had scored in the series by far.

Jordan avg. 31.5ppg with Scott and Worthy playing, and scored 30 points in game 5 without them playing.

Scott not playing actually benefited the Lakers considering his efficiency rating had severely dropped and his win shares went negative in the finals. Scott shot just .277% in the 4 finals games (compared to .511% in the season). He avg. just 7.3 points in the 4 games he played and his 0-8 performance in game 3 was a big factor into the Lakers OT loss.

    -1

    Dude are you bumberboy2sports?

    0

Lmao no, but I watch his videos. He's the realist. He doesn't care what Jordan fanboys or as he says it, Jordan loon nuts think.

    -1

but you say everything he says. do u know him?

    0

No I don't know him. I just watch his videos. He makes the Jordan loons mad lol

    -1

    -1

Bruh you probably wernt even alive to watch him play. Its sounds like ur mad becasue you dont have this card. You think this card is bad becasue your a 3 point cheeser and this card can not be effective in your lineup

    0

As a matter of fact, I do have this card I got it in the rookie pack. Bit in not talking about the card in talking about him.

    -2

6 dislikes? can nobody handle the truth so they dislike to feel better?
