MVP Steph Curry Review

Written by Joshpatty

I've put him at my two and backup point to see where he best fits. For me, it's the two guard right now along side the OP D-Rose. I've probably have averaged 14 points per game with him. Sometimes I get that with only 6 shots and others with 15-18. He's really inconsistent.

Bought for: Packed!!! Only amethyst pulled all year.

  • Playmaking: Great passer and ball handler. Can make some pretty neat moves.
  • Acceleration and off the dribble. Very good in these two areas
  • Standing Shot 3pt: 98 - doesn't miss too many shots. And it's Steph. -Defense: Stealing, and on ball defense. -Stamina

  • Rebounding: But it's not terrible, he grabs a few, which is nice from a PG.

  • Strength:It's very noticeable when you get into more physical game like in RTTP.

  • Speed: Only a 85 and it's really noticeable.

Recommended Strategy: Use him as a shooter and when people are playing too hard on you get em' with a drive and that layup animation that God can touch. Set plays for three and fastbreaks.

Other Comments: He really is a good player, and I was so excited to use him, but it almost seemed "blah" or "eh" just wasn't as exciting as I was expecting him to be. Also, it's nearly the same as his current card.

Use if: "You want a shooter and playmaker"

Don't use if: "You need a strong physical Point who can drive to the rim with force.

Bottom Line: Just a big "eh"

Yeah I don't think I agree with this. For me he's been the most consistent player on m team. IN the multiple games I've played with him he's shot over 50% from the 3pt line. And 85 speed that's noticeable isn't true. He's not the style of PG where you just sprint up the court super fast, or the speed would matter. And the strength don't really matter either cuz it's not like you gonna go in the post with him or something. And if they playin physical on ball you don't just run through, you pass it away or try and get some dribble moves in there. And last but not least you can't have rebounding as a weakness, because he's a PG and that's not at all what he's for.
