It's not Curry that people hate I personally think he is a great person and player it's the Warriors fan base that makes him and the warriors so dislike able. Most of it is filled with ignorant bandwagon fans who know little to nothing about basketball and at least 1/4 of them were Heat fans only a few years back. They are also really annoying going everywhere and saying their the best team/franchise of all time (which they are not that is between the celtics and lakers) and claiming that Curry is the best player to ever play basketball (which he is definitely not though I will agree he is probably the best 3 point shooter of all time) and they will go around bashing anyone who disagrees with them. They will say annoying stuff like "Curry is the G.O.A.T he is better than Mj, Lebron, and Kobe combined." or "The 2016-2017 warriors are the best team of all time they would beat the showtime lakers, Larry bird lead celtics, 95-96 bulls, and bad boy pistons any day." That is why people hate him so much
I simply don't understand what's with all of this unnecessary aimless hate directed towards him. What has he ever done? He's someone that I look up to, I admire his game. Well, tbh though, most NBA fans right now would rather hate on Durant than Curry. Basically, the entire Warriors team is hated by most fans excluding the Warriors fans (of course). The trades of Kevin Durant and Zaza's only 10 million salary enrages other NBA analysts.
Remember Curry is not the only one hated in the history of the NBA. Lebron himself got lots of hate too when he joined Miami.
Another thing why people may hate Curry is because he at the time of the Finals was the team leader (because we all know that the best player of the team is the leader, for whatever reason) of the Warriors...and we all know what happens next. Maybe people become angry at their missed opportunity...however, Game 5 Green was facing suspension, who is a vital part of the Warriors team altogether. From what I saw, Barnes is also to blame for the loss...
Another thing is that people usually hate for two reasons:
One they did something that upset them.
Two they think the player is overrated.
Well, of course Curry lost the Finals, that upsets people as most people were looking for a dynasty as they think they should've won easily.
Now others think that Curry is overrated-he is getting too much love. They think that others think Curry is better than other people like Lebron or Jordan, which upsets them as they think Curry can only shoot threes, unlike let's just say Jordan who statistically is better at everything expect for threes...

Curry is hated because he was one of the best players in the league. If someone is better than you and beats you everytime you play them chances are you won't like them. He is also back to back MVPs and in my opinion he didn't deserve. He has also gotten worse this year with Durant. Durant is the best player on the team but he is still cocky and acts like he is the best. He also complains a lot and he has some trash talkers on his team like Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Himself, Also Durant has been Lebrons rival for years and he could never beat him so now he went to GS to try and beat him and he still won't beat him so he will also become a trash talker because he is sick of loosing.

Now, people can hate him on the court just because of the cringey fanbase it has created, people who don't watch basketball, but think they're pretty swag wearing a Curry jersey. There is not one thing people can hate about him off the court though, and that is a fact.

In real life I only practice threes for fun or when I get bored. It took me over 1000 practice threes before I was okay at shooting it. I can't even pull it off when I play with others xD. Now I used to enjoy being an undersized power forward, but I soon realized it was not effective. And so I switched myself to small forward who has decent dime vision, yet sometimes making surprise drives, while still keeping my offensive rebounding and power forward defense, which is much better than other people who just hog and play 90s isoball.

The lineup is asking for our fucking opinions. Anyways currys presence has made a huge affect on basketball as a whole even as far back to just kids playing in the damn park. They see this relatable guy that's not athletic or tall and to the avergage kid he is amazing by just shooting. Next thing you know and the only thing kids worry about is to shoot the three ball (and it makes more bandwagon fucktards because he's so relatable but that's not my point). There are so many people now that would rather take a three in transition than try for the and one, or take the step back jumper instead of driving inside, which ill admit is nice when you are on defense cause that's way easier to defend but when your teammates are doing it, it's the worst thing in the fucking world. That's the main reason why I don't like curry.
