seriously, people talk about 2k doing kobeand other players dirty, but in reality 2k heavily underrates hakeem on a yearly basis. i get not maxing out the post stats on the play now versions, but can't they at least give him a 99 fade for his rewards cards?

It's because this is one of his first seasons in the NBA and he wasn't the Hakeem we all know and love at that point in his career

Would love to know what year this is supposed to be. Even with the weirder ratings this year, an 89 is a kick in the jaw to one of the best players of all time.

I bought one pack and got him (I know right what are the odds) and it says he's 22 so it's either his rookie year or the year after that i believe? Underrated regardless of the year though tbh

Guys relax, this is obviously not going to be the only hakeem card. They're probably going to have an MVP collection or a defensive specialist collection with a better Hakeem. They just didn't want to flood the market too early with the OP cards like they did last year

Like last year? Last year at this point in the game we had still to see a Diamond card. First diamond card was Dynamic Curry early December. This year guys had an all 99 squad first week and all diamond lineups are a possibility for weeks now.

That doesn't make sense... rookie stats 21-12-2.7 blocks. Vs Rookie Robinson 24-12-3.9 blocks. But rookie Robinson is rated less. I'm sure ther are other factors in rating like size and speed and strength. But still. Yes I know Hakeem was better than Robinson in the playoffs but if this is these are both rookies...

There was data collected on Kareem's skyhook in one particular playoff run (can't remember the year, it was close to his prime tho) and he shot like 45% with it

I totally agree on the value. He was a great player and this card looks really good but you can get good alternatives for cheap. Walton from the same set is less than half the price and very similar.
