They have a lot of high paid players on payroll. They will have to give up some big names like Griffin or 2-3 solid players on the bench (Rivers and Crawford). Boston can give out a shit ton of draft picks. If I was New York I would go for the picks than the players.

I'm a celtics fan and there is no way I would give up those picks for melo. The Knicks dont want any players in LA's big 3, so the clips should just do it

I wouldn't want Melo either. He has no more upside but I think he would excel with the ball in Thomas' hands in Boston. IT has such an offensive burden and Celtics don't really have another shot creator on the team.
I think if the clippers don't do something this year, then they will break up some players. I would trade Griffin.

I'd be fine with him coming here, but only if we keep the picks. I just think if he went to the clippers, they could be a powerhouse with CP3 who is a great passer and scorer, JJ (if they dont trade him) who is a top 5 3pt shooter, melo who is a great scorer, blake who is a low post prescence and solid rebounder, and DJ who is arguably the best rebounder in the league

yeah but i still dont think they could beat GSW or SA though. Maybe they should try to trade for some young guys and start to build a super team for when GSW CLE and SA start to fall apart

I think a healthy LA team can beat SA but not GS. I would trade Griffin before the deadline if I was GM. CP3 plays better without Griffin and you could get a lot with his value. DJ is perfect for LA so I would not move him. Injuries have just been the curse for them and CP3 is only getting older.
