If you got him don't add any badges! Chances are 2k was lazy/disorganized and released the card without the right badges and will update it tomorrow. Only problem is that if you add badges, they won't become Hall of fame when (if) they update them. For example, I pulled amethyst Wade before he had Hall of fame difficult shots and badged him out, then when they updated it mine was stuck at a gold.

Well if you are really down to argue I'm just not going to care. Honestly Wade has blocked more over a much more sustained amount of time. And also keep in mind that he is literally playing with meniscus removed, in a league where players are way more athletic and much harder to block over Jordan s period. So what he has achieved in the block shot department is nothing short of phenomenal and the fact that he averaged 1 block over his first 10 seasons or so is the indication. If you still dont think he deserves anything higher than 90 blocks then I have nothing to say. It's literally like giving lebron a 46 strength. Unthinkable.
Btw don't use Jordan as a measuring stick either as his block shot stat is also mistreated by 2k. IMO an early Jordan (like the all-star game one) also deserves at least 90 blocks while a late 90s Jordan deserves an 75+ block.

But certainly, 70-ish would be acceptable.

For a 99 overall in what's supposed to be the best D-Wade card we've ever gotten, I think that he should have a higher three pointer than sapphire Ricky fucking Rubio. And don't ignore that there are about 6-8 badges that he should have HOF but doesn't, along with him having a block rating way too low, it is just frustrating not giving us a great card when we should have just voted for gay

I voted for #PDGay but this card is a low-key beast. First game in MTO he scored 32 points and was 2-2 from three. My recommendation is just to attack the paint and get heated up, then start to shoot threes whenever he has a hot ring. His release is super easy to learn and you can expect a green release from mid almost every time. Just take the time to get used to this card and he can be one of your top performers.

He's taller, better 3 point shooter, has a smooth as fuck release in 2K and if they juiced his stats up as much as they'd have to in order for him to be a 99 overall he'd probably be a really OP all-around card.

The community is so dumb for voting Wade over Rudy. They only did it because Wade is a legend and Rudy was just an above average NBA player in his prime. Wade was going to get a card just about this good at some point this year anyway. The highest Rudy we would have likely some random Ruby or something. Its unfortunate because he would've been a better card because he'd have a higher 3 ball and rudy has a cheese release. This card only has an 80 3 and he has some cold spots. I probably won't even go for this Wade.

I didn't vote, but if I had I would have voted for Rudy. Wade was never a great 3 pt. shooter, and being undersized like he is can be good in real life, but in 2k it makes it worse. He should get a bit of a boost in his 3 pt stats, maybe 88 open, 83 contested, 82 off dribble. The thing that gets me though, is that D-Wade is the best shot-blocking guard of all time, and they only gave him a 46 (high for a sg in the game but still) he should have a 75+.

yeah some people play by the rules and dont use keyboards to type. The batch did seem bigger but for me I missed it by a minute as twitter and even tweetdeck refreshed too slow. I hope to get him again when they drop another batch

bruh I was late too. some people out there use bluetooth keyboards with their phones or even use phone simulators on their computers to type. People who are fair type the code in normally. Some people just find ways to do it faster than the normal way. Thats why some people are just unlucky

I get people are made because D.Wade didn't come with HOF badges, But I personally believe 2k did that on purpose. Can you imagine the backlash they would get from the community if they did. Also I believe that all future PD locker codes will follow the same trend. Just look at PD Love.

Exactly. No matter what PD they did, Rudy Gay included, wasn't going to be the typical OP card that people have come to expect from PDs. In the past people complained that the best cards were given away, so 2K made it so that the best cards are still in packs, but still gave a solid card away for free and to many people. Honestly, the only thing people can hate on is the 3 ball.
