Goddamn those were the days, amiright fellas? Hakeem Olajuwon, Ralph Sampson, and Patrick Ewing shooting them deep balls, and Isiah Thomas throwing down some mean posterizers. Nothing better.
How about when Larry Bird could rebound better than basically most of the bigs in his generation? Man those were some great days
Bird averaged 10 per game he should have HoF hustle rebounder if anything, he has the 2nd highest RPG of any non PF/C ever (1st is Elgin Baylor).
Show 4 replies...... *runs*
Or when Kings Boogie could shoot better than Stephen Curry at the start of the year?
Show 6 replies...Or when Julius Erving was faster than Celtic Nate Archibald/Prime Kobe
Oh, 2K
(2k) You are dumb as sh** AKA desnakeussssssssssssssssss cousinssssssssssssssss
“Patrick Ewing shooting them deep balls” switch the last 2 words
rip to people who did the clutch closer set
That set came out months ago dumbass. RIP to the people who weren't able to use a GOD Hakeem for months in the game.
Those who completed the CC set got their worth from being able to utilize the 98 for a lonnnnngggg time.
u know people wasted a lot of mt doing that set
Show 3 replies...You mean wasted money because almost all of them ripped packs. I feel no empathy for people who cause this game to not evolve into a better version by throwing thousands of $ (mainly because of a gambling addiction).
Ronnie: We're gonna add more new cards to the game so what you guys want to add?
Everyone: We want a Diamond/PD Moses Malone added to the game
Ronnie: Enjoy this 5th Hakeem card, everybody.
Everyone: RIP to the people who got the Rewards Hakeem
I know someone did this but I made my own way but credit to @erotic_bulls_fan
Who's been asking for a Moses Malone?? wut lol
I want Brandon Roy and Reggie Miller lol
Moses' family dont want him in the game it wont happen
Finally, the DREAM gets the card he deserved.
i don't think he deserved a 91 three.
In 93-94 he actually shot above 42% from 3, 8/19 which is still better than roberson lol
Show 6 replies...he is still cheesy
even then he was not a shooter and 2k knew that but they want everyone to cheese with players :(
Why only add PDs? I wouldnt mind getting a Diamond Glen Rice, Willis Reed, James Worthy, Shawn Marion, STAT, David Robinson, David Thompson, KG, Mitch Richmond, Shaq...?
Fit perfectly on my team.......If I had MT
i have MT :)
OOOOOOOHHHHH, That HOF difficult shots. The new curry.
I need this card so bad. He's one of my top 3 favourite players of all time!!
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME
I JUST COMPLETED HIS COLLECTION YESTERDAY. FUCK THIS GAME
Anyone remember him on the "Phi Slama Jama" team in Houston from '82 to '84 that featured players like Hakeem, Clyde Drexler, and Michael Young?
I'm not sure you do, but they were a great team.
This is my current lineup any suggestions?
https://2kmtcentral.com/18/lineups/556869/jordanthomas13
he gone lmao
Don't give him attention
Only in his dreams would he ever be better than anyone on UVA
Bruh I’m actually dead rn nobody from uva is ever better than Hakeem Olajuwon
That's not true-
Ty Jerome is a better shooter
Kyle Guy is a better shooter
Devon Hall is a better shooter and defender
Isaiah Wilkins is a better defender
Jack Salt is stronger and a better defender
Mamadi Diakite is more athletic
Deandre Hunter is a better all-around player
Nigel Johnson is faster
Marco Anthony is a more fundamentally sound player
Jay Huff is a better offensive player
Ralph Sampson carried Hakeem to the finals
Malcolm Brogdon is better than Hakeem
Yeah but are any of them a 2x NBA champion, a 2× NBA Finals MVP, an NBA MVP, a 12× NBA All-Star, a 2× NBA DPOY, a 2x NBA rebounding leader, a 3× NBA blocks leader, a SWC Player of the Year, a NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player, has been selected to 3 All-NBA Second Teams, 6 All-NBA First Teams, 3 All-NBA Third Teams, 5 NBA All-Defensive First Teams, 4 NBA All-Defensive Second Teams, 4 NBA All-Defensive Second Teams, an NBA All-Rookie First Team, the NBA'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY ALL-TIME TEAM, a Consensus first-team All-American, and has had his number 34 retired by the Houston Rockets and the University got Houston. Just tell me when anyone from uva does that.
I'm going to give you some advice: When bringing up a list to dismiss a player being better than another player, take the shit out that the other player did. But since you asked me to tell you a UVA player that did that...
-Sampson was a 4x all-star before the injuries (And won MVP)
-The SWC player of the year is irrelevant because there is no SWC anymore and Sampson and Brogdon have won 4 player of the year awards combined in a conference rich with history
-Brogdon and Sampson were on All-rookie teams
-Brogdon, Sampson, Guy, Anderson, Scott, Strickling, Wilkinson, Parkhill, Lamp, and Singletary were all All-americans
-Jeff Lamp, Buzzy Wilkinson, Bryant Stith, Barry Parkhill, Wally Walker, Sean Singletary, Ralph Sampson, and Malcolm Brogdon all have their numbers retired in a college program that has more history than Houston
Take this massive L
Alright. I’ll be more specific. Tell me when anyone from UVA does every single accomplishment while being the best player on the team BY FAR in an era where the GOAT (Michael Jordan) is currently playing
Um, Ralph Sampson was the best player on that finals team
I said best player on that team not best player on that FINALS team. Plus Hakeem is easily the better player. When do you see Ralph Sampson in top 13 players of all time lineups?
He's on my top 13 lineup
Well I guess his dreams are reality.
How, UVA creates GOATS. Only in Hakeem's dreams would he ever even compare to UVA's worst player
Show 8 replies...'Goats' that never win a title and lose to UMBC...
Wow, a UMBC reference, you're like 4 months late to the party, you uncreative bitch If you wanted to roast my team, bring up Syracuse or Chaminade, or hell even Virginia Tech. But you have to one of those normies who brings up UMBC. Also, since it's kind of tradition:
De'Andre Hunter: Best UVA player (OUT)
Kyle Guy: UVA's leading scorer (Nagging knee injury)
Isaiah Wilkins: UVA's best defensive player (Injured, came back and was never the same)
Jay Huff: UVA's Tallest player (OUT)
This was an injury depleted team that was emotionally and physically down, if they had a healthy team, they WOULD HAVE won it all
Enjoy your delusions my friend
How though, Virginia basketball is the best!
I know this is 3 weeks late because I'm not on this site 24/7, but if they are the best then it shouldn't matter if they had injuries.
Yes it does, it ruins chemistry
*wiping tears*
*offers tissue*
It’s okay zem. Cry all you need to
The way the PD market has been there will be too much of him on my team
You can finally get that Hakeem you always wanted
