No matter what his stats we're his rookie year he still was a sensation because all of the hype. Turned out to be a first.ballot hof
Just watched his 81 point game, not impressive compared to Ty Jerome's 31 points against Boston College
Yeah Kobe an L in general complete self centered player force Shaq out of LA headass
bro shaq was always overweight and his ego didn't mesh with kobe who was a better alpha dog and kobe was not a player that could simply shift to the second scorer bc of the number of shots needed for him to be on fire.
Kobe was a better alpha dog? LA lost in ‘04 because of him Shaq was 2nd in MVP voting the next year cause he had a non-selfish passing gaurd in D Wade
LA lost bc they were playing one of the greatest defensive teams of all time. Their defensive trio of prince, hamilton, and billups prevented kobe from even getting a lick of space to shoot. Plus with karl malone's injury, their scoring was drastically decreased. And ur arguement about shaq means he also needs to be fed the ball in order to do well. So if shaq doesn't get the ball, he won't be as good
can't forget how Ben Wallace was also guarding Shaq
who could guard shaq one on one. I'll wait. perimeter defense is more effective than post defence
Clearly perimeter defense is better, Shaq shot better than 60%, Kobrick shot sub 40%. Well maybe Kobe is just awful and has the lowest shot iq ever
So if perimeter defense is more effective than post defense, and the 04 Pistons were one of the best defensive teams, including perimeter D, does that mean Shaq had the advantage by having two players guard him (Sheed and Big Ben) over Kobe who had three players (Billups, Hamilton, Prince) who guarded him? And wasn't defense more significantly stronger on perimeter players after zone defense was made legal in 2002? Nevermind all this. Kobe was always a shot chucker and apparently doesn't deserve to be in the hall of fame.
Bro you act like they were constantly doubling Shaq and tripling Kobe, and first, they didn’t even double Kobe the entire series he played awful and game t only took one person to lock him, and they didn’t double Shaq it was part of their game plan, and zones leave at least one guy in the paint st all time so....
7.6 ppg on 41% shooting LOL
Pretty sure 2K was just trying to chuck as many superstars in as possible, Kobe in the 1st collection does create a fuckton if hype.
Remember guys. 2K needs your money.
And doing a High Flyers collection as the first one of the year for the third time in a row was too much, even for 2k
Last year it was playmakers
