This just shows that you never saw prime Shaq play. Sure he would struggle a bit defensively in this 3pt oriented area but he would destroy anyone on the other side of the court.
The guy was a physical specimen that was quite agile for his size/weight going against real big men every game and being double teamed on the daily.

It's so hard and kind of useless to compare areas but Shaq was so dominant that I don't see him averaging less than 25 and 15.
He was still a top 10 center in Nash's Suns on a run and gun team. He would have to adapt to today's style but imagine surrounding him with shooters and going 1 on 1 vs guys like Drummond, Jarrett Allen, Brook Lopez and Javale McGeeeeee

I wouldn't go that far but could see him drop 30-35/15/3/3 on smth like 65% shooting. The only negative with Shaq was his commitment to stay in top shape. He really messed up his knees by adding many pounds to his already big frame after joining the Lakers. He could have finished as a top 3 player but injuries derailled him from true glory
yeah but he did that because guys were bigger back then and he wanted more post control but if he stayed at 325 where he was at in 99 he'd already be the biggest player in the NBA and at that weight he still could move and guard anyone he averaged 28.8 against some of the greatest defensive centers the league has seen i think he can average 40 against the scrubs of today cause that's what they are besides embiid and ad who aren't on shaqs level

If Shaq had the same mentality as a guy like Kobe and waited until after his retirement to get into movies and drop rap albums, he would have dominated the league for 15 straight years.
The Kobe-Shaq duo was the most powerful of all time, you could put 3 scrubs around them and they would still win the title. Injuries and egos ruined it but hey life isn't always perfect :)))
