Strait Fun

It's Jimmer Time! Wow... this card blew me away from the first time I shot the ball with him. He's a killer on the court and it's a blast to use.

Bought for: 113,000 MT

Strengths:

  • Shooting: What do you Expect? It's Jimmer Fredette; he's gonna make it splash. His range is unreal and his release is really quick, but still pretty easy to time. If you have even an inch of space, pull it. And when this man gets his takeover it's a guaranteed 9 points. In takeover, this man can take 3 steps past the half court line and launch it, and every time he'll do an animation just to rub it in the opponents face.
  • Driving: His driving is surprisingly good for a smaller guy in 2k. He's able to make it through contact with his HOF badges as well as some good animations. He has a money floater and if you don't make the shot, you'll draw the contact.
  • Size: Now, I don't necessarily mean this as a pro, but his build in the game is unique. He's got a wider build that makes him look a lot bigger than 6'2" on the court. Granted, he's no Paul George or Magic Johnson, but he's far from somebody like Nate Archibald or Isaiah Thomas.

Weaknesses:

  • Rebounding: He's got terrible rebounding stats and I expect nothing from here, but it's not very important for Jimmer.
  • Bully Ball: I'm not gonna beat around the bush, he's gonna get dominated by bigger PG's. I don't think that anybody would expect anything different, but with that being said you can usually hide him at the 2 and his defense is good enough to dilute players like James Harden and Devin Booker.

Recommended Strategy: SHOOT, dribble drive, iso pull up

Other Comments: I was extremely bored of 2k before they came out with this promo, but this card alone has drawn me back into playing this game every game. He's so fun to use that I can't express and I recommend everybody to try this card even for just one game.

Use if: You want an extremely fun card that can make it splash from everywhere

Don't use if: You need a lockdown defender or an extremely tall, meta guard

Bottom Line: Not too expensive, and worth every penny
