You should start with cheaper but better cards
Try to buy d wade diamond he is crazy, mo Bamba or Zhou qi as centers, gerald Wallace or Lamar doom as SF and I would sell dirk and put booker on the bench.
Other cheap cards to start are bonga Amy, Ron harper Amy, Batum diamond...
Get Gary Payton or Jason kidd both around 50k, do hss for Jack sikma/ cousins and move Dirk to the 4 , you can also get Nash for Dirk's dynamic duo. Get another defender on the wings from ss like roco or thybulle and your squad improves instantly
You have to understand, Career Highlights cards are not good. Do not use any of them except maybe Booker and Magic. I'd advise you to just sell your entire team and restart. You'll get around 75k i think, and that's enough to build a decent budget squad.
