Because you have to have a East one and a West. Vince Carter would be on the East, but who you going to put on the West side.

Update - don’t love the card.
Let me start by saying I’ve never been a big fan of Vince’s 2k cards, but after packing one I had to try it out. After playing a game of unlimited, and a few games of triple threat, I must say this card does BOOM. However, he’s not the overall demigod I expected him to be.
My primary issue is with his shooting, as he is not the sniper I hoped he would be. For me, his shot is a little slow. This, along with the fact his dribble moves are better suited for getting to the rack, makes it difficult to get uncontested looks from deep and to create your own jumper. However, off the catch his shot is super easy to green, if you have the time.
I was also slightly underwhelmed by the speed at which this card moves, as he doesn’t absolutely just fly around until he gets takeover. Because of that, and the fact he seems to be loose with the ball when dribbling, I’m not sure he can be a primary ball handler. He plays good defense, and gets some crazy pass pickoffs, but he’s no Kawhi.
Overall, the card is definitely a beast, and a great slashing guard. But, unless you’re a fan of Vince Carter cards or wanting to pimp out your lineup with opals, I’d say save your $$$.
im a year late but this still applies to 2k21 and all 2ks: i agree completey. in 2k19 i got carters signature series card after a friend recommended it to me and i didnt like his release at all. also, he wasnt even the best dunker in the game. a bad cone tbh
So I just pulled him from a single, his price has dropped down to 300k, I have pd demar, Blake, and lavine, do I keep him which I would love to or basically trade him todo the stuff for Giannis? Then buy somthing else after?

If you can get 300k+ for him, I’d sell him. I feel as if Giannis can be a more impactful player on both ends of the court (although, VC is a certified bucket), and you would still be able to upgrade your roster at multiple spots. 2k has released a few crazy cards this weekend, and I feel as if they will more than likely maintain this pace as the game progresses. This means that VC is prone to devaluing as they drop other godtier players, especially considering there are already a few beast 2guards in the game. IMO it’s best to attempt to have as many impactful players as possible, and that also keeps you from tying up all your MT in one player.
A really good budget baller PG is Walt Frazier @ 50k. His defense allows him to go against bigger guards, and he’s a very shifty player that can score in a multitude of ways.
