3 pointer is a gimmick that was introduced back in 1979, and 3 seconds in the paint rule should be removed and hand checking should be allowed.
you do realize if you don't have 3 seconds in the paint people are gonna take more outside shots because they will almost never be able to make a shot in the paint
You do realize that with 3 seconds in the paint gone, perimeter players won't have a clear path to the basket anymore
they don't have a clear path anyways. 3 seconds is a lot of time in basketball especially when you're driving. if that wasn't true whiteside wouldn't average 3 blocks a game
