1. Steph Curry is also an incredible playmaker. The dude is averaging 7 assists per game for his entire career. That's ridiculous. But you what is more ridiculous? Point 2.
2. His gravity is ridiculous. If you watch Warriors games, you'll quickly notice the gravity Curry has because of his shooting ability. Defenders would go as far as leaving Kevin Durant wide open just to ensure that Curry didn't get a highly contested 40 foot jumper off. Why? Because he can hit those. He takes advantage of this and uses it to create shots for his teammates. I'd actually say this and his playmaking are better than his handles, which says a lot because he has great handles.
3. Yes shooting is one of his main abilities. He also just happens to be the greatest shooter of all time.
4. What are Damian Lillard's greatest strengths anyway? Shooting and breaking people's ankles.

dame gets posters, too. Don't even get me started on shooting range. Dame and Curry are both amazing, and for very similar reasons. They both can't play defense, tho, which really brings down there legacies.

I'd say that they are both average on defense. They're not good. They're not bad. Just average. Which is fine. Yes brings them both down but it is totally fine. They make up for their lack of elite defense with their buckets. And yes Dame get posters but they aren't everything. Aaron Gordon gets posters but we're not calling him better than Kawhi. However, if we're talking finishing ability then I'll give Dame the slightest of edges over Curry, but not a big one. I will also agree with you on his shooting range. It's insane. So is Curry's. They are about even there I'd say, maybe giving the slight edge to Curry but much like the finishing one it's nothing too big. Where the separation occurs is in playmaking. Between Curry's pure playmaking ability and his gravity he is an incredible playmaker. I'd also like to say right now that Damian Lillard is one of my favorite players in the NBA so I'm not being biased against him or anything.

I appreciate Dame and all the good things he has done for our community.
I also think he is amazing and when he's in the zone, he can't be stopped. His mentality of playing just makes him such an amazing PG, and Imo, the best in the NBA.
