I have played with this Oladipo for about 20 unlimited games and 20 triple threat games and bought him just mainly as a 3-D support behind PD Walt Frazier and D Lamar Odom. He suddenly ended up taking the star role on my team and plays better than some of the Opal forwards I've played with(Dr.J, Grant hill).
Bought For: 25,000 MT
Inside scoring: Finishes tough layups at a decent clip but triggers dunk animations at a better frequency then a lot of players. Doesn't often get caught in easily-blockable Flashy Animations. 85 Driving dunk doesn't mean much when he has 100 Driving and Flashy tendencies.
Outside scoring: Don't shoot mid ranges often, but gets a load of space on the fade. 3pt is one of the most consistent I have ever used. Release is butter and greens opens at around 80%.
- Defense: An absolutely clamps player that is fine with defending bigger players. HOF clamps means that most players can't get by.
Rebounding: Can't really rebound but for a PG/SG it doesn't really matter.
- Playmaking: unfortunately only a 79 Ball Control but HOF Quick first step makes it not too big a problem.
Recommended Strategy: Isolate on weaker/smaller defenders and dunk or kick out.
Use if: You need a Leading Scorer or a 3-D support wing.
Don't use if: You want a Playmaking guard.
Bottom Line: For 25K A huge addition that can control an offense.
