Short but real

Written by Rotura

I’m going to keep this short because it doesn’t take much to know if a player is good or not in 2k at this point in the game. All you need to see are their stats/badges and animations, mainly animations as basically every card has the same stats. Sure this Jordan card has great animations, from the behind the back to the jump shot and unique layup and dunk packages. But is he really that much different to the other opal? No, yes he has a lot more HOF badges but the only real important one for his position is HOF Range extender, the rest are basically just novelty. The difference from all stats being basically High 80s/mid 90s to being all 99s really isn’t that much, especially since he already had all the stats for a guard. You’re basically paying an extra 2.8m for HOF range.

Overall he isn’t worth it, sure it’s a nice card to have but at the end of the day, 3m MT worth ? No. Especially when cards like Opal Giannis are half the price. He is hardly any better than the other opal. A guard with max post defence and rebounding really isn’t necessary, nice but not necessary.
