By reputation for sure but I think in reality it would be closer than you think. I mean Bird was absolutely freakishly skilled.
1. Pippen would easily be able to contain Bird as one of the best perimeter players of All-Time, not to mention he can playmake for Lebron and vice versa
2. Lebron is just levels above Kawhi lmao, it isnt even comparable how much better of a scorer/passer he is, maybe defense Kawhi has over but Lebron is just stronger in general
True, but there is a certain ease to how Bird scored the ball, seemingly just at will at times. I'd think it would be tougher for Pippen than on first impression. The biggest problem, like you mentioned, would be the issue of two passers vs one, but with Kawhi off-ball Bird should still do well. Remember Kawhi thrived in an off-ball movement system in San Antonio.

bird used to kill pippen when he was in his prime. And pippen cant match bird offensively. Lebron is definitely better than Kawhi but he can't match kawhi's shooting and defensively Kawhi gives bron problems
