This is, in my opinion, the top 13 NBA big men of all time. This list is only including officially listed PFs and Cs, so bigger players such as Magic and LeBron won’t be included. The blank player is Charles Barkley. This idea is entirely from @zzzzzzz8 so all credit goes to him. Feedback and advice is welcomed.
ah yes one of the top big men of all time Mystery Player
Ah yes, not reading the pinned comment and jumping to conclusions
Ah yes, CAN'T TAKE A JOKE.
Ah yes, not detecting sarcasm
Hakeem is the best defender of all time, better than Shaq in pure skill and athleticism, had far superior and impressive playoff runs (including the best playoff run in history), a better all-round player that could dominate in any era including today and also he dominated and swept Shaq in the finals.
So we just bouta forget bill's playoff run
All of these have made the NBA Finals. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
CHAMBERLAIN DA GOAT
Bob Pettit should be here
Provide your argument
He made the all NBA team every year of his career was a 2 time mvp and was the only person other than wilt to beat the bill russell celtics
You failed to mention how he did so in the weakest era in league history
He played barely before wilt and bill's era. 70's was weaker
Name some actual big-man competition from the ‘50s to the end of the ‘60s that aren’t Wilt, Bill, Pettit or Thurmond.
dolph schayes, george mikan, wilt, bill, and thurmond is competition
Pettit was irrelevant by the time Wilt, Bill and Thurmond had started their careers
I guess 31 and 19 is irrelevent
I specifically said by the time they had started their careers off. That doesn’t mean rookie season
That season was wilt's 50 ppg season, Russell averaged 19 and 23, big o averaged a triple double, and elgin baylor averaged 38
Last time I checked, Oscar and Baylor weren’t big men
Last time I checked we were talking about the competition of the era
BIG-MEN competition of the era
@Will_i-am Is right
Even though i have no clue about the era's, if he pleyed during that era and did what he did, he should be at least 13.
Who and what are you referring to?
What about him?
they weren't trash that year
Plus Pettit was a PF so he would never play against them
doesn't mean he didn't match up with them.
....yes it does
For example, say draymond is playing pf and drummond c, doesnt mean they wouldn't match up
Yes it does lmao, he’s half a foot shorter
So, there are things called switches in basketball that make this possible, and btw kendrick nunn blocked AD in the finals
What does a block have to do with matchups from nearly a century ago?
Ok now im confused, what do you mean by matchup
Dude you’ve gotta be trolling
Okok im sorry
