I got him today, but didn't test him yet. I would say he is worth the grind, especially bc you get additional useful players like Morris or Jackson. You can get him within 5 hours and he is most likely better than Vince which requires way more time for the grind.
Worthy and Dame will also be great. Dame would be the best PG for me, but the game requires large PG, unfortunately.

Any tip on grinding?
In most of the games, it is an advantage to play with larger players. The CPU often tries to score with the playmaker and you have to guard him well. However, you have to adjust according to the tasks (3s, steals, blocks). Defense is more important to limit the CPU from scoring until you have finished the tasks. Sometimes, you might want a lead of +1 to be able to extent the Game until you have finished the tasks. Game 3 with +7 points and 3 players of the dedicated team can annoying. Here, you should be able to get steals. Try to get them directly when the CPU playmaker dribbles up the court.
LA Clippers is the easiest team to start with.
How long does it take to grind for it
Depends how fast you manage to win the 5 games for one player. You need ten players for Jimmy. Without losing, you finish the 5 games in 25-30 min. So it takes 4-5 hours in total if you always win.
How many does it take to get the others
The 3 DM require 10x5 games of TT each. Afterwards, you have to win 11 games for Bill Russell.

Just check the rewards players menu. You need 10 opals for Butler, 10 for Worthy, and 10 for Lillard. All 3 are required for the final games for Russell.

it takes 5 hours minimum. regular tt games take 4 minutes minimum and 4x50 = over 3 hours. not only that but there are some tough challenges that might take 15-20 minutes alone. its impossible to get worthy in 2 hours
