Great Stretch Big!

Written by Nba2kGod11

Bought for: 5k MT

Strengths:

  • Shooting: In an era where shooting is stupidly op, you need guys that can space the floor and hit consistently in a 5-OUT situation. Bill Laimbeer gives you just that. 85 3 and 86 mid are fantastic stats. Even more importantly though(in my opinion), is the Gold Catch-and-Shoot and Corner Specialist. These are very key badges. If you like running pick-and-pops, he also has gold Brick Wall and Pick-and-popper. This card is without a doubt one of the best shooting bigs in the game.

  • Defense: Bill's defense is fantastic too. He has 88 interior defense, 82 block, and 94 strength. Gold Intimidator, Post Move Lockdown, Rim Protector, and Moving Truck are also key to defending opposing big men. Surprisingly he also comes with Silver CLAMPS, one of the only centers in the game with that badge. While it's not his primary purpose on the floor, Bill Laimbeer can lock people up.

  • Rebounding: 6'11 is not a bad height for a Center. 84 offensive and 87 defensive rebound is pretty good as well. Gold Rebound Chaser, Box, and Worm help too.

Weaknesses:

  • Shooting: I know this is a contradiction because shooting was also mentioned as one of his strengths but there are a few drawbacks. First of all, he has gold steady so he might miss some open shots. Second, I'm pretty sure he steps in from the corner so he can't shoot corner 3s. Lastly, his release is kinda slow and for some people hard to time as well.

  • 99 Hard Foul Tendency

  • SLOW: 44 speed is just not it. This card feels so sluggish.

Recommended Strategy: Run pick-and-pops with him, get him in catch-and-shoot situations.

Use if: You want a stretch big that can shoot lights out and play good defense as well.

Don't use if: You need faster centers.

Bottom Line: One of the best Centers in MyTeam as of now, hope you enjoyed the review!
