I dont get why 2k didnt give him all 99 post stats, like the man literally invented half the post moves we see today. he still dominates down there in game, but its really annoying that they couldnt just give him post takeover
Really nice review man, I miss the days when knicks melo balled out. U think hes worth the extra 250k to upgrade from the PD?
Thanks for the great response. I run melo as my bench SF and mostly just use him as an isolation scorer if i cant create a look through the rest of my offense. Is opal melo any better in terms of creating his offense than the PD? Do you notice the extra hof badges like difficult tireless or post spin? The defensive upgrades are nice, but unless u think the opal is significantly better in terms of iso scoring then i dont think ill cop. thanks for the help
yeah ive noticed the inconsistency on the PD, its tough but i find he can always shoot his way out of it. That post game is a big upgrade for me, so Ill pick up the card this week whenever we get new content. Thanks a lot for the help, dont wanna be wasting my mt out here
nice review man. noticed u didnt mention the release, is it any good?
Picked up the opal yesterday, holy crap you were right. The difficult shots is a crazy upgrade, Melo can sink them off the dribble from the freaking hash mark. Thanks for telling me to cop bro, I would not have otherwise but am so glad I did. He's averaging 34 a game and 65% from 3
No problem man, thanks a lot for the compliment.
I'd say it's pretty close between those two, but I would have to go with Bron, but he is like 200k more expensive. However, I think there are better players than both that r much cheaper like GO Roy for SG or GO Melo for SF. It sucks tho that this yr in 2k Melo and Brandon Roy have better cards than Bron and MJ (not including limiteds).
Lmao bro you have been missing out... Auctions house is glitched so ppl can hardly bid... I won a GO MJ for 100k and a Bron for 100k (but on the flip side my Drob only sold for 150k)
If u can manage to bid on cards, you can rake in crazy MT rn
I much prefer Hakeem, but Malone is better in some areas. Hakeem has better size, defense, is the better rebounder, and better in the post. Malone thought comes default with post scoring/rebounding takeover while Hakeem has defense/rebounding, so thats an advantage for Moses. He also has the quicker release, but overall i still prefer hakeem just bc of height and post offense. You could even try running both on your team, though that might be a little cheesy. hope that helps
