Kinda funny when you think about it, that we have a player averaging a triple double in a top 8 team who isn't on an All-NBA team.
What would that be?
Really, I've heard some announcers say that. I think both irl and in 2k. Apt description tho
True, Lebron 'Freight Train' James lol
Yeah, he does make the game incredible to watch, so easy
I also do agree that KD is unguardable and realistically may become a more dominant scorer than Bird but he just somehow never really managed to properly carry a team. His supporting casts have been too stacked for too long, I mean this Nets team is:
That's freaking insane and maybe even better than the Warrior's god-squad.
Also, Bird was a magnificent passer, which KD never was so I just think a lot would have to happen for me to pass on Bird.
Honestly, I think Stockton is underrated. He played for a long time simply because he was continuously competitive and had great longevity. Also I saw on a video by JxmyHighroller that he is 2nd all time for points generated in league history, behind Lebron and clearly beating out third. Also, he was a great defender without length or great athleticism, which means his IQ was insane.
Ok, fair enough. Who's on your team then?
I dunno, he has length, athleticism and IQ, he probably backs off in game tho because of his high usage and to occasionally grab a board. Like Harden. Put more guys around them and they get better. The rockets were a top defence in the bubble remember, and this is a guard orientated league where they have significant pressure every night.
True, but there is a certain ease to how Bird scored the ball, seemingly just at will at times. I'd think it would be tougher for Pippen than on first impression. The biggest problem, like you mentioned, would be the issue of two passers vs one, but with Kawhi off-ball Bird should still do well. Remember Kawhi thrived in an off-ball movement system in San Antonio.
