‘Sup. It’s been a while…
Once again, I had the utmost privilege of coming back and working on the background gem textures for the 2K21 card generator! Big thanks to tupac for the chance to do it again. This isn’t a comeback by any means, just wanted to drop by and say hi. The several group chats I was added to by the same person begging me to come back wasn’t a reassuring sign to log back in to. Anywho, the generator should be fully up to date fairly soon. Have fun posting this year!
Every word uttered in that QNA will come back to haunt me it appears
I believe you are talking about the guy who posted my Ronnie2K promo card. I talked about him a while back. He used to not credit me on every post unless I specifically told him to. He usually throws credit below the wall of hashtags so no one even sees the credit anyway. Anyway, I think Ronnie reposted the card and he asked if I cared that Ronnie didn't tag "US". The "us" was the first thing that irked me. I said you don't normally expect famous people to tag you on reposts like that and that I didn't care he didn't tag me in that instance. He took that as that I didn't care about the tag altogether and he absolutely BEGGED Ronnie to tag HIM instead. You know. The guy who adds absolutely nothing to the art in any way, shape, or form when reposting and copying and pasting my captions wholesale. He got the stupid tag and was fucking clueless as to why I wasn't happy at all. He has no concept of what it's like to create anything for himself and having ownership of a piece of art worth anything because all he does is copy and paste all his content. I don't care that he reposts my stuff and does it the right way now. The fact that he clout chased when he does absolutely nothing to add to the art I make myself and pretends he has any ownership over it is why I don't interact with him anymore.
I didn't pin the comment to have people put you on blast or anything, so if you're downing because I did, stop. I was just making a point to make sure people saw this.
The watermark isn't an aesthetic choice. They never were and I don't know why people they are. I started putting watermarks on my cards because it appears people really like to steal my work and repost elsewhere. In one instance on Instagram before I started watermarking, a dude was stealing nearly everything I and the rest of 2KI had ever done, cropping out any mention of our names or tags on the graphics, taking all the credit for it, and blocking literally anyone who said it wasn't his. I appreciate you bringing this up because it is something I wanted to talk about on the QNA but forgot to. So many people think a watermark is a design choice and is there to add to the card aesthetically or some crap like that. It's there as a necessity so leeches can't steal all my work and pass it off as theirs. Some of the people using watermarks really don't need them because I can guarantee no one is thinking about stealing their shit.
Back by popular demand (and by popular demand I mean demand from @LOKxICE)
This Series 2 concept of Street Legends centers on the art of the next game in the series "NBA Street V3." If you had the game on Nintendo Gamecube as I did, you could play as Mario, Luigi, and Peach and wipe the floor with NBA stars. Not related, just a fun fact.
Gotta love the clone stamping on the logos. Looks like a dope set.
Cool. Now own up to lying about being hacked.
